Disable everything that will keep the car powered on. Sentry Mode, Summon Standby. Make sure the car is unplugged, and then walk away from it for like 2 hours.

Deep sleep fixed it. I even noticed a new “limited regeneration” indicator that wasn’t present beforehand, even though regeneration was limited. So something funky had happened, but all good now.

My wife used the car yesterday afternoon, same difference in profiles. Ours did not send anything back after the drive. I had the same question when I saw that, because I was under the interpretation that it was running in shadow mode when FSD is not enabled.
