    Enhanced Autopilot Refund

I bought EAP a while ago and was severely under impressed with it. Refunded without issue.

    FSD Beta v11.x

Happened to me in 11.4.3 as well, and still present in 11.4.4. One turn (first one in my video) I'm fairly confident it cannot see traffic oncoming from the right as it's fairly blind, but every time it seems to have gotten lucky and no cars were coming. Second turn in the video it always has...

    FSD Beta v11.x

    FSD Beta v11.x

So originally I posted about 11.4.4 being pretty unusable for me (HW3), and how 11.4.3 was great. I took a few more drives with it and will say it's really a toss up now. Some drives it works pretty well, better than I originally said 11.4.4 does, but then other drives it really is just straight...

    FSD 11.4.4 wide release??

Half of us are sw engineers here 🤣
  6. T

    FSD Beta v11.x

hope they push a new update somewhat soon. 11.4.3 was by far the best update for me, first time I had a lot more confidence in FSD taking me 45 minutes to work through city and highway driving. 11.4.4 is by far the worst for me (as fasteddie7 speculated it seems to be good for HW4 but bad for...

    FSD Beta v11.x

11.4.4 so far for me is worse the. 11.4.3. I was actually pretty pleased with 11.4.3 but on 11.4.4 I’ve noticed it gets really nervous when turning or when someone ahead stops. Almost like someone who wasn’t paying attention realizes a second or two after they should have

    I just got an FSD offer… :)

ITT: OP posts about getting an offer to "try out FSD" Later states they have an active FSD subscription; Everyone was trolled What software version are you running? Sounds like you have FSD beta software and just dont have the navigate on city streets beta enabled in settings.
  10. T

    FSD Beta v11.x

From my understanding, the Highway NoA/AP is not in the latest beta and the steering wheel nag/warnings/anti-cheat code is a separate portion of the code. If you think of them as modules, City FSD, Highway NoA/AP, and wheel nags are all separate modules so your latest version of sofwtare can...

    FSD Beta v11.x

Off topic but yes you can DIY the retrofit yourself in about 15 minutes. You can pick up the new charging board from a service center (Р1537264 - 00 - B) then all you’ll need is a “bundle of wires” harness.

    FSD Beta v11.x

Correct me if I’m wrong, I thought I’ve seen videos online of some company/service does that do entirely driverless taxis?

    40.X and steering Wheel weight?

I’ve had very good luck giving the wheel a good tug every few minutes. Zero disengagements as long as I move it every so often.

    Not the internal camera.

  16. T

    36.X and Steering Wheel Weight?

I’ve had zero disengagements now with my steering wheel weight as long as I give the wheel a good tug every few minutes. Better than constant nags or strapping a giant water bottle onto the wheel 😂

    Full Self-Driving Beta V11 (2022.40.5x)

From the comments in that video: Coolham 8 hours ago (edited) @Lauri Vasiaginas I was able to find it! It's Windmill Rd, in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. Not marked as a highway on google maps either apparently. The nav indicates he is taking a left turn on Akerley Blvd ahead.

    FSD V11 Discussion - First Released 11/11/22 at 11:11PM - Maybe

Semi-complicated without knowing the actual code base/methodolgy/principles. At a high level, leaving the code in there shouldnt have much impact. The classes/functions will be compiled into objects that will take up storage space, but if theyre never used/called/instantiated in execution, they...

What do you currently get for an FSD monthly suscription

There's mixed thoughts on this. Majority of people think if your sw version branch is ahead of where fsd branch is, then you won't get FSD beta until it catches up with your branch (I.e. downgrade from 40.x to 36.x is not possible). There are some people who say it doesn't matter what software...

What do you currently get for an FSD monthly suscription

I'm a subscriber, started my subscription in early October; when I subscribed I was on SW version 2022.28.2. For almost 2 months, all I had was essentially EAP. I think sometime in early November I received a SW update for 2022.36.5 then next day 2022.36.6 (Both were non FSD beta). Eventually...

Cabin Camera Unavailable, now unable to engage TACC/AP

Interestingly, I drove my m3 sr+ to work (50mins) the whole way without being able to engage FSDb/AP/TACC. then let it charge for 2 hours. Went down to move my car and in the parking lot was able to engage FSDb...

Cabin Camera Unavailable, now unable to engage TACC/AP

Since upgrading to 10.69.3.1/2022.36.20 (FSD Beta), I have been getting a warning message I believe every time I go for a drive saying "Cabin Camera Unavailable". I got 10.69.3.1 on Nov 22, 2022, and have been still able to use FSDb/AP/TACC without any issue. This morning (Nov 29, 2022)...

    FSD Beta 10.69

I'm impressed with the capability of FSD when it works, but I experience FSD randomly slowing down to a complete stop almost daily.

    Autopilot buddy code is changed?

Easy for them to defeat though, make steering wheel scrolls (speed/vol) not valid for clearing nag.
  28. T

    FSD Beta 10.69

Random detour this morning, thought it handled it pretty well (Massachusetts)
  29. T

    Autopilot buddy code is changed?

Tapping into the steering wheel controls and emulating a vol+/vol- would also clear the hands on nag so this would be a way to circumvent wheel weight detection as there is no wheel weight but still clears nags.
  30. T

    Autopilot buddy code is changed?

Can be done much simpler. Follow the wiring of the steering wheel controls to the passenger footwell area. Add a simple microcontroller (I'm sure there's also a constant 12V line in that area too that can also power the MCU) and have it randomly every couple minutes short the required steering...

    Autopilot buddy code is changed?

Tesla Motors: Hey every single municipal police, here's a list of people PUTTING WEIGHTS ON THEIR STEERING WHEELS Police: ok 🤡

    Autopilot buddy code is changed?

Wheel weight would aid in that the nags and alarms wouldnt wake me up from a good and seemingly needed nap

    40.X and steering Wheel weight?

I agree without an official/verified Tesla engineer chiming in, we won't know for sure. That being said, I believe there is enough anecdotal evidence to strongly suggest they did indeed add something that does not like the steering wheel counterweight at the very least. There's also this:
  35. T

    40.X and steering Wheel weight?

Yes ignore all the testimonials from people on 36.X and 40.X saying they’re getting disengagements as well as the articles written about it.

    FSD Beta 10.69

Do you still have safety score? I dont have one since moving to beta. I was under the impression AP doesnt count towards SS? On that note, I'm also new to beta, where does one see strike count?
  37. T

    40.X and steering Wheel weight?

Not really the point here lol but if you're curious Red lights: on occasion I blow by, but rarely. Has happened more times unintentionally than intentionally, but it has happened intentionally for sure. Stop Signs: Almost always at work. There's a 3 way stop by the entrance and I usually blow...

    FSD Beta 10.69

Interesting. I was showing my coworkers a lightshow at work yesterday and then I walked away at the end assuming it would auto lock. Few minutes later I get a notification from my phone that the doors were unlocked, figured it was due to the lightshow, but maybe it's from this beta release? I...

Tesla FSD 10.69.3.1 going to wide release now

I did opt-in to the beta, which you do on the car via the autopilot menu I believe. Once you do that you'll have a safety score in the app, if you have that then I believe you should be all set. I did that in October

    FSD Beta 10.69

Well, FWIW, the only time I've seen it disengage with a large red wheel, zero warnings prior, and AP disabled for the rest of the drive is with the introduction of 36.X and some code that appears to be wheel weight detection. Here's a thread I made about it...

Tesla FSD 10.69.3.1 going to wide release now

I spoke too soon, woke up to it this morning! FYI I’m coming from2022.36.6. Swapping wheels/tires with TPMS Installed

Just a quick question, I bought a set of Tesla wheels from someone that already have winter tires on them and TPMS modules. If I take my wheels off and put the ones I just picked up, do I have to program/pair the new tpms sensors with my car or are they automatic? TIA

    36.X and Steering Wheel Weight?

Take what Elon says with a grain of salt... I wouldn't take that as a guarantee. And especially if it's being derived from "without you touching the wheel" he might have unknowingly exaggerated there and meant more to talk about the capability of FSD beta and less about hinting that wheel touch...
