Tremonton supercharger to Boise supercharger (271 miles)

Before the Twin Falls, ID supercharger comes online, I had to attempt Tremonton to Boise direct. I'll post a follow up on the return in a few days. 272 Miles @ 255wh/mi, 69.3kWh. Left Tremonton on a full charge, 256RM is my current 100% but, hopefully after my return that number will be...

Regen is awesome! 3kWh generated... Unfortunetly what goes down must come up.

Just out on a Sunday drive decided to see how much regen a 15 miles down hill run would give back. Google Maps Link If only the entire world could be downhill.

Android Mobile App Using Baidu百度 Maps

I'm hoping someone here has run into this problem and knows a fix. I've tried contacting Tesla 3 times now and no response. Previously the location feature on the phone app worked fine, then one day a few months ago, it decided I was in China. Now, I can't get it to go back to using Google...

    The big 10K.

It's been an adventure! From June 29, 2014. to today. My Tesla and I have gone from SLC to: Aspen, Boise, Vegas, Moab, Wendover, and many mundane trips back and forth to and from work. Thank you Tesla for 10,000 Gas free, trouble free, exciting miles!

    Upgraded Welcome Lights.

I'm currently working on enhancing most of the interior lighting in the car. I've already added better trunk lighting, and figured the next best set of lights to tackle would be the welcome lights (I don't know if they have an official name; the floor lights that come on when you open the...

A list of all supercharger coordinates and a script to grab them.

Updated 2014-12-03: When planning trips I like to have my GPS device create a route along the Superchargers including my start and end points. Before this has meant I always needed to go to teslamotors.com and lookup all the coordinates, then program them into my gps. Being the Linux Systems...

Come on Tesla! We're supposed to be the most technically advanced car! Where is this simple feature we've been begging for, for years now? Even the 2015 Corvettes now have it. 2015 Corvette Valet Mode: Exclusive to Corvette | Chevrolet - YouTube

Salt Lake City, Utah to Boise, Idaho

For Labor Day weekend my wife and I decided to go visit family up in Boise, ID. Which unfortunately is out-of-range even on a 85kWh battery at 353 Miles. We left home Thursday afternoon around 4:30 PM to head to an RV Park (Village of the Trees RV Resort) that is about 180 miles miles from...

    Speedometer off by -1 MPH

Curious if anyone else has noticed the speedometer being off by -1 MPH, e.g. car says 60MPH but in reality is going 59MPH. I can verify this with both GPS and those radar speed limit sign things.

Rock + Windshield = Sad Tesla

While going up a freeway on-ramp earlier today, BAM! a nice sized rock chip with fractures so far out to about 0.75". Dash cam caught two frames with the rock in it. UGH! In Utah we don't have a service center, I'm waiting for a call back from Tesla to see what the next step is.

House Electrical Upgraded, Finally! (and HPWC install)

The story: I confirmed my Tesla order March 3rd, and shortly there after started seeking an electrician. I asked Tesla for a recommendation as I've never had to hire the services of a licensed electrician before. I consider myself fairly handy and can always fall back to my dad for anything...

How to Custom Make A Bed In A Model S

My future plans include Tesla camping, and the most important part of camping is, of course, a good nights sleep inside a $100,000 car. My height comes in at 6 feet 2 inches. I initially was concerned I wouldn't fit without doing some major modifications to the car to fill in the trench between...

Salt Lake City, Utah to Las Vegas, Nevada

I figured I better post this before the St. George SuperCharger comes online, otherwise it won't be as cool. Friday, July 18th my wife and I took a drive down to Vegas from Salt Lake City. We stayed one night while partying like rockstars. We left Saturday afternoon headed for Cedar City...

    T-Day!

Tesla Delivered today, and driven down to the new Nephi, UT supercharger then out around Tooele. Simply the best car I've ever driven. I started getting getting a little anxious about range while ascending nearly 2000 feet over a short distance, and watching my Rated Range drop from ~200RM to...

Today is the happiest day of my life!

I woke up this morning to my daily routine, shower, breakfast, mytesla. Like everyday previous, I expected to see the "Sourcing Parts" message. Today, however, my world was rocked, shaken to it's very core. "In Production - The Tesla Factory is building your Model S." This makes today the...

Length and Width of rear cargo area.

Hello Everyone, I ordered an S a few weeks ago, and while I wait I've been reading non-stop the posts on this forum, and watching every video on YouTube I can find (Bjørn is my hero). Tesla camping/road-tripping are two of the thinks I'm most excited about. So this brings me to asking; Would...
