I have a vin number! Revealed by the Chrome extension. Ordered late July, its MSM, Induction wheels, black interior. EDD has been showing 17-31 December but it just updated to 02-17 December. Very exciting.

Bainsy seems to think theres a chance. My thinking is, if there were no more ships planned, our EDDs would not be showing end of december. Surely they will know months ahead how many ships there will be, so if there is no chance at all due to no ships planned, the EDD would have moved by now...

Personally, im hopeful, but it feels like its going to get in way too early for our EDDs. Theres close to two weeks between its arrival and the opening of my EDD, and it sounds like some peoples are even later than mine...

I also have a July order with just late december EDD. Tesla rep on the live chat told me today that my delivery date when I ordered was Jan to March, so if they cant allocate me one in december it would be next year. I dont really accept that, as its said November since a day after I ordered...

I am also very keen to know this. Seems there are quite a few people with very late december delivery windows, which do not time up at all with any of the known ships currently coming over. Either these dates will come forward (if the car is on an earlier ship), go back into 2023 if they are not...

Im in the same boat as you, my EDD is 16-31st, so it seems too early for mine to be on Summit or Europe. I was hoping for Morning Cello but even that seems too soon. Fingers crossed eh.

He says that hyperion ray just left shanghai, and the photo shows left hand drive cars. Doesnt mean that those cars in the photo are now on Hyperion, could just as easily be those cars left behind by hyperion....

Its very hard to tell, you catch the odd glimpse of LHR, but Wuwa himself did say that MOST of the ship was RHD, and since this video only really shows some cars in enough detail to be able to see where the wheel was, theres still no real way of knowing if the entire ship was LHD or not...?

Don't forget, the September orders that are being matched now are RWD, which wasn't even available to order when a lot of our orders were placed. Its annoying, but its an apples and oranges comparison. There just isnt months and months of order backlog for the RWD and I suspect the RWD is less...

Just rung Tesla in the UK. I have a Y now due 10-26 December. Other than the call handler telling me she didn't believe in the covid vaccine for a few minutes, she did have some useful information, although not entirely positive for me. She said that its unlikely that my car is on the ship...

Ah RWD. That is probably something to do with it? They only just started making those, right? Mine is an AWD in a popular colour, black interior. I did go for the fancy wheels though so hopefully they have lots of those stacked up 🤣

Long before Tesla officially tell you they have 'Vin Matched' your order to a car, the vin number assigned to you is secretly stashed away in the source code of the order page on the Tesla website. Apparently the hidden vin can be found shortly after the boat departs - I guess once they know...
