I have a weird question about door handles. What colour are they by default? I'm seeing lots of people with black door handles and it looks awesome but I thought they were silver by default. So what's the deal? Do the colours of the door handles change based on the colour of the car?

That story was from two months ago. I was hoping that things had sped up in the interim. I selfishly certainly hope that it's faster in NSW.

Okay @Enters , it's officially just passed the "Black Bar" territory in the schedule and the Grande Mirafiori has not moved. If it still has not moved by EOD today then I'm going to suspect that it's going to continue not moving until the end of the bar (Thursday).

I don't know what the black means but, as the Turandot did not come forward at the same time I am inclined to disagree with that interpretation. I guess we'll know if it's still there on Wed. The only real change that I can see is that the Paganella was moved back one day to Friday.

Sometimes that are called RoRo ships, or "RO" for short. This just stands for "Roll on, Roll off" and is pretty much the same thing as "Vehicles Carrier" since it describes how the goods get on the ship.

My understanding, from forums and one SA, is that it usually indicates that your car is now off the boat and in the dock...but...that could easily be false information. All we really know is that Tesla sent us a message saying "soon".

Unless you get your car before the day after the Turandot docks I don't think we can say for sure which boat your car was on. We're certainly not going to be able to tell the difference between the Paganella and Turandot based on delivery date if the current AA Terminal timetable is accurate.

No shipping updates expected until Thursday at which point in time: Berth 105: Paganella docks. Berth 106: Grande Mirafiori leaves, Hoegh Jacksonville arrives (only for 16 hours) and then swaps out again for the Turandot between midnight and 8am on Friday. So, it's going to be a long few days...

In other news, the Grand Diamond has docked, as expected: We should expect that to be replaced by the Grande Mirafiori tomorrow morning as @Enters said yesterday. No AAT Birthing Schedule update yet today.

Perhaps, or maybe it's just how supply and demand works for these things. I guess enough people are willing to pay that 10% surcharge that they can charge those numbers and still get a steady stream of customers. Also inflation. A 10% increase from where they were before would put it at about...

Yes, mine is black and it is in one of the three boats sitting just outside of Port Kembla now. You can see my EDD in my signature. Also, while the default colour for Australian orders is white, the default for China is black. So it seems unlikely that they would run out of black Model Y's any...
