Turns out they couldn't solve it at the SC, but have ordered me a replacement lower drivers seat. So the clicking remains, for now.

I'm still at the SC, but they found the source of the problem pretty quickly. The framing under the driver's seat needed some repositioning and tightening. They seemed to feel this had come up in a few other early examples of the next gen seats, so perhaps yours is the same.

I have the clicking too, but haven't found others with it before this post. My car is going in for service next month (soonest available) and they say they'll try to figure it out. Shrug.

Interesting that this feature just plain disappeared. I've noticed it too, and have been scratching my head trying to figure out when or why it is gone. Turns out the recent upgrade did it here too. Sigh.

I've got all of the above, but it's actually the incandescent pot lights that I notice flicker the most. The UPS I have on my media server in the basement alarms every time as well. I'll call the power company.

Thanks - I'll call the utility and ask them to address it. We're dealing with freezing rain here tonight, so they've got their hands full restoring power for now. I'll save my whining about flickering lights caused by my electric car for after that! :)

That's an interesting point, but I haven't heard any comments on their willingness to swap a 60 with an 85. That would be great if they would. I wonder if there is ever a case where a 85 would decide they wanted a 60 temporarily. Weight savings for an afternoon of autocross? :)
