Tesla wont replace wall connector with non functional LEDs under warranty

Ask the contact to transfer you to a supervisor, or ask for the name of their supervisor, or their superior. Then contact them.

Tesla wont replace wall connector with non functional LEDs under warranty

A bored customer service rep, seriously. Escalate if you haven't already, and then ask tesla legal.

Tesla wont replace wall connector with non functional LEDs under warranty

Maybe contact legal? That tends to spook companies doing dumb stuff. Maybe send a certified letter demanding they honor the warranty depending on the response. If you're REALLY bored, you can small claims them for the cost of the charger (and reinstall if you're not doing the swap yourself).

    Most efficient charging level

    > I figure 25 amps incurred less voltage loss/heat/resistance in the cord resistance is a static percentage in a cord.

FSDb improved speedometer accuracy (still ~1 mph high)

When I checked a few months ago, it was completely accurate, but read 49.1 as 50mph, but also 19.1 as 20, and 69.1 as 70... 235/45 R18 stock tires on a model 3.

    Which SSD

Right, but SLC just straight up WON'T fail, and it's like 30 bucks for a 64GB SLC drive. One and done. MLC is available too if you really want the extra capacity. Same price, double the capacity, 1/10th the life (but still should be in excess of the car's life.)

MASTER THREAD: USB drives that work with Sentry and TeslaCam

I have been using an SLC for 4 years without a single issue. It's specifically an EVTRAN 32GB SLC USB 2.0 flash drive. (The USB 3 ones are pSLC) I am getting warnings that it's too small though =/. Fortunately they moved it so it's only in the logs and you don't see the alert anymore.

Vendor Teslogic — Mobile Instrument Cluster for Tesla Model 3/Y

I wonder if this would work with one of those integrated android dashboards the replace the trim piece on the top and behind the wheel.

    Which SSD

FFS just use an SLC drive for the dashcam, it won't die. I believe you can just use a splitter/hub if you want another drive for music.

    Which SSD

I just got an SLC flash drive. They are 100,000 PE cycles, so basically invulnerable.

The quest for wider wheels and tires, 295, 305 and beyond...

If I may make a counterpoint, a 2850lb, 228hp (only at 7000rpm), 184lb-ft (only at 3700) RWD car isn't exactly comparable to the monsters that Tesla model 3's are in comparison (4000lbs, 500+hp/700+ftlbs AWD). I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying that test is so dissimilar, I don't find...

Which tire is faster - frivolous debate

On what wheel? In a straight line or on a track? Which model 3 do you have?

what's the "best" model 3 to get right now - what should I do with my post write off insurance check?

I have an oct 2018 with free premium connectivity, but that's literally the least of the issues with feature removal in the newer cars. If you're using the nav, just tether to your phone, which is free.

Should I fix this before returning a lease?

You could probably fix that with proper touch-up paint. For a lease return anyway.

    19in vs 20in Aftermarket Rims

No, 18 is the best for anything function related. The others are only for looks.

    Staggered M3 RWD LR suggestions

From what I've read, I'm not sure significant staggering is a great idea, as it just gives you a good bit of understeer. People seem to prefer square setups. Are you tracking it? I see you're going with all-seasons, not my specialty, but the MXM4s are terrible, and you might be better off...

    Largest tire size?

From what I've read, 265 on the stock wheels. You also need to be very aware you can't change tire diameter much, because of the knuckle in the front (look into the front wheelwheel at the top). Also, are you tracking the car?

Tesla uses Windshield Washer Fluid Methanol Mix with -20F temperature target and no additives

I got the information from a service center visit when I couldn't find it online, and I'm putting it here so google will pick it up in a search if someone checks in the future. For reference I'm in Austin,TX, and it doesn't go below 0F ever, but I think it's just standard. Autozone and Walmart...

out of spec tire size and traction control

I just ran a similar battery of tests and got the same result. No speedo change regardless of wheel size set.
