Saw the New Nissan Leaf 2nd Gen - Not a bad car at all...

So I was wondering around Ginza the other day and walked into the Nissan Building and wow, I didn't know the 2018 Nissan Leaf redesign was out! I know comparing the Leaf to Model 3 is like, comparing an apple with uh... cantaloupe, but... The styling was not bad (compared to the previous...

My 15 Issues with the Model X, that I found during delivery

Most of the things mentioned are disappointing. However you said you've had the car since Xmas. I'd be surprised if they fix the scratches and scuffs.

35% Depreciation at One Year Old?

Sorry OP, you bought your 60 at a bad time. At least you didn't get it before the auto-pilots were installed since that is the hot feature Tesla is selling nowadays. There was a thread somewhere on here where people that bought the 60kwh just lost quite a bit when it was discontinued.

    VINs assigned way too early

VIN doesn't determine the value of a car. Go to KBB where everyone uses it as a base for how much your car is worth. Do they ask for a VIN? No. Sorry about your wait.

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2015

Ballparking here but Resistance in 2013 at $191 Support in 2014 at $182 Support in 2015 at $185 If I had to take a chance... Out of your choices, I'd buy in at $180 with stops at $170. Knowing Tesla, I'm sure they'll leak or release some news when TSLA comes to that level.

    Beware of the Blob

Great customer service by Tesla but I'm surprised they are still having simple issues like this.

Hoodwinked by Tesla w/ Release of S70D?

It's not only a major update, 60 are now discontinued Many features are now standard. That lowers the resale value of Model S 60 more. Still a great car, but it's not nice for the folks that bought one right before the 70d announcement Know anyone looking for a Model S 40? Didn't think so.

    Photos - Ocean Blue 70D

New Deep Blue Color Spotted! Drove to the Santana Row Tesla yesterday and already saw someone test driving the deep blue rr ?ocean blue? color. Spoke to the rep about the new colors. It's very subtle difference but he said they do look different under the sun.

    Tesla cuts 60kWh Model S, entry-level Model S is now 70D.

kinda sucks for anyone that bought a 60 in the last few months.

Elon's demand "secret weapon" ...what is it?

How does having a Tesla in every Apple store become a demand booster? Probably a better idea to invest in having a Model S sit at every mall like many other car companies. Someone also mentioned about having Model S at car rental places? It's not difficult to test drive a Model S right now. I...

So the day is here. Anyway for us to watch the news with the world like Apple presentations or do we just need to wait until some auto website writes an article?

Who owns this Tesla in California?

How did you get his/her VIN from the license plate?

Who owns this Tesla in California?

It was apparently parked in an EV quickcharge spot without charging leaving a Leaf owner looking for another station. 6YFE160 in CA License Plate Report Teslas have great range, so if you don't need the charge, can we just park normally a walk a little?

Wait 3 more months for 2015 Model S?

People tend to look at KBB to agree on an used price of a car. KBB's first question is what year your car is. Even if it's a Tesla - - - Updated - - - Right, I can't speak for extra features that might be put in. Normally, it's worth getting an older year model at the dealership because you...

Wait 3 more months for 2015 Model S?

Thanks everyone for the inputs! I know a Nissan Leaf can't be compared, but 2011 Leaf SL with 10k miles - $14313 2012 Leaf SL with 10k miles - $15761 Slightly over 10% difference even at same mileage. I think it makes sense to wait an extra 3 months and have the government hold my $7500-$10k...

Wait 3 more months for 2015 Model S?

I understand Model S's don't have year numbers on them, but people still look for them when it comes time to resell them. If I pre-order now, I get a 2014 Model S in October. Should I just wait 3 more months and get the 2015 Model S delivered in January 2015?

Who would buy the Gen 3 as a beater EV?

It depends on what the Gen 3 offers, but if you need a city beater car, why not get something more practical like a Smart car or even an used prius/leaf.

    2014 Model S60 for $77K

I am in the market for the exact same setup. 60 kwh + tech package (no custom paint) The guy at Tesla told me with out the door price after tax credit is $72k. Would I get used 9000km and not wait 3 months for $5k? no thanks.

Used Model S Only 4900 Miles for $62k?

I'm in the bay area and I'm tempted to jump on this 2013 Model S 60 with 4900 miles. Jump on it? Anything I'm missing here? Not salvaged, many options. Any advice would be appreciated. 2013 Model S 60 - 4900 Miles - $62,995 | Tesla Shift Discussion Forum

    2014 Model S 85k "Gorgeous Look" 2600 miles - SOLD

Agreeing with RonMathMD Of course the second owner is entitled to the discount. Just take an extreme example where I buy a new Tesla for $72k after tax deduction (original price being $82k), what reason is there for the second buyer to pay anymore than $72k? Regardless KBB wrote an article...

    2013 Tesla Model S85 < 4000 Miles - No Longer Available

I think he means the supercharger. If you go on Tesla's site, they state that Supercharging and 19" Tire upgrade is included on the 85kwh
