I'm happy with Opti-coat. Seems to bring out the pearl essence even more, and as others have commented, nice protection and washing easier.

I downloaded VT onto a MAC and it seems to be mostly working for me. The only thing I notice is that it's not capturing any Trip Data. It is catering data for graphing, energy usage, speed, etc. Would the missing trip data be related to the new server issue previously noted?

I'd like to see options around valet mode. 70 mph / 113kph is too high. Would like option to limit speed to 40kph.

There are a couple of free spots in Brisbane. Charge Point are buying a number of the Tritium Veefil stations, which should all have CHAdeMO. Until the Supercharger network expands, this may be a good back up to have handy.

I was was told that the Tesla 3-phase chargers will arrive with a type 2 holder, rather than US style.

I saw something posted on the web recently. I think the current cost per kWh is slightly higher than retail electricity prices. There will surely be a point in the (perhaps near) future where this cost becomes equal or less than electricity rates.

Redflow has one available now. Will be interesting to see how the Tesla price point compares. Once they launch in USA, I'd guess they will deliver to AUS "soon" after......

Interesting. I thought Elon mentioned that they were going to put additional investment into Australia, but the supercharger map in the article is the same as originally shown at launch.....with the same timelines. Were his comments hyperbole or might Tesla genuinely accelerate their rate of...

They provide frames in USA, but I believe that's because there is one standard size number plate there.

Gympie is too far north and road gets flooded (cut off) at times. Eumundi would be about perfect, or south of there. By the way, in order to meet the published commitments, it seems they need to knock out 2-3 new sites per quarter. Q1 is almost done. Will they do it?

After some research and review, I'm guessing my car, along with several others is currently on the SAFMARINE MAFADI (see below). This would fit with the timing I've been told to expect. Assuming Port arrival 27 Feb, how long would folks expect the car to be unloaded, cleared customs, prepped...

In addition to the costs, I understand that superchargers deliver up to 120Kw per hour....which I believe would require the home to effectively have a 500 amp supply. I know that they require locations for supercharger to have a 500KvA supply available. It's unlikely any homes would have been...

Did anyone get a plastic chrome looking Tesla number plate frame for the rear of their car? Apparently standard in USA. There is also a metal chrome frame which can be purchased. I was told Tesla owners get a discount off regular prices. Anyone hearing this in AUS?
