    Yes, in the process. Especially as these units are now getting to the point where they reach this age limit having been available for a bit over that amount of time. The mileage limit is also rather inexcusable as the same part is covered for 4-5 years and 50-70K miles (depending on country)...

    My car got an MCU2 upgrade from Tesla in August last year and it's malfunctioning already. They have a 2yr/25K mile warranty on it and mine has passed 25K in those 16 months, so they expect me to pay for a new one.
