    FSD Beta v11.x

While I agree most of us on 2022.45.15 are going to have to wait a bit longer, there is at least one car on 2022.45.15 queued up for 2023.7.10 so... there's hope?

Model 3 refresh leaked? (with picture) [posted 04.12.2023]

I'm torn on this. The new headlights, on their own, look nice, but they don't look proportional to the front-end dimensions. It makes the nose look too long. They also somehow convey Tesla design language, while simultaneously making the M3 look extremely generic. If this is real I guess I have...

    Autopark returned?

Yes, it's back in the FSDb 11 builds - I have seen the autopark "P" popping up consistently over the past week or so, though I never use it either. But nice to know it's there!

    FSD Beta v11.x

Sounds like it’s maybe a minor bug fix but mostly for non-USS cars.

In any case, the wait is over - I had 11.3.4 pushed to me a few minutes ago, just showed up when opening the app. Good fortune to you all, you should get yours soon

We're over 1,000 now and there's only about 1.7k on 11.3.3 on TeslaFi in total, so they are definitely hustling this one out

The ol' finger hold and a soft reset? Didn't work for me sadly - but it seems like most people are getting v11 pushed so I'm not really waiting to burn my daily check anyhow

And now Teslascope is picking up 2022.45.13 as well - I expect we’ll see a push to existing v11 vehicles starting tonight.

    FSD Beta v11.x

I don’t know if it actually matters since it sounds like most people are getting 2022.45.12 pushed to them, but there hasn’t been any uptick in pending downloads on teslafi since last night so you might want to wait and see if there’s another wave later tonight before checking

    FSD Beta v11.x

Pending download count on TeslaFi hasn’t moved since Tuesday, though I wouldn’t call it “paused” - phased rollout like 1%, 5%, 10%, 50%, 100% are pretty common to ensure they don’t push a completely broken build to the wider fleet. I expect by this weekend they will push additional waves...

    FSD Beta v11.x

I'm hoping it's more just a step-function approach to ensure there's no huge issues - release to 1%, wait, release to 10%, wait, release to all. (this is also all speculation but we can hope!)
  25. cowleggies

    FSD Beta v11.x

Unfortunately it doesn't look like they're continuing to ramp the rollout the way they did the last two days - based on TeslaFi data (which admittedly is a limited sample of the vehicle pool), it doesn't look like any additional vehicles have gotten the push to download today - still hanging at...

    FSD Beta v11.x

I don't expect I'll be waiting long given what the rollout ramp has looked like in the last 48 hours - I'm just particularly impatient this time around to give v11 a spin :)

    FSD Beta v11.x

Just out of curiosity, when did you get added to FSDb? I have been in since November, currently on 2022.44.30.10, and I didn't get an update on my check today 😞
  28. cowleggies

    FSD Beta v11.x

No luck yet, just burned my daily update check on 2022.44.30.10. I’m not usually impatient with updates but really hoping this gets pushed wider very soon.

Does any 2023 model y owner who picked up their car on February has FSD?

2022.45.10 apparently addresses the recall per the Release Notes, but it’s unlikely 2022.45.10 will be a wide release build. I don’t think there will be another FSDb v10 build before v11 given that there’s already a “public” v11 build (in a very narrow release). With any luck we’ll actually see...

High Drain from HV Battery after 12V Replacement?

Thanks for your insight. I think there may be some BMS calibration at play here too as the SoC jumped up by 4-5% from where it was when I arrived at the SC and when I left - so the actual loss may be less than that. Tessie shows about 4 kW drained since I parked this morning. I’ll chalk it up...

High Drain from HV Battery after 12V Replacement?

Hi all, Asking this mostly out of curiosity as I think I know the answer - I had my 12V battery replaced this morning, drove to work immediately afterwards, and parked. I happened to glance at my Tesla widget on my phone around lunch and noticed that my HV battery had drained ~10% since parking...

Does any 2023 model y owner who picked up their car on February has FSD?

2022.45.10 is not a wide release version - there are a grand total of 5 cars on this firmware per TeslaFi. Anyone waiting for FSDb will have to wait until the next wide release version to update, regardless of the recall pause.
  33. cowleggies

    FSD Beta v11.x

What are the chances of 2022.45.10 going wide release? Seeing YTers posting it is tantalizing and 2022.44.30.10 is feeling mighty stale.

Installed 2022.44.30.5, Lost all Settings, No FSD Features, What now?

Nope - I was the original poster of Settings Reset After 2022.44.25.5 Update - Unenrolled from FSD Beta? and can confirm you can do a software reinstall via service menu from anywhere. Reinstalling the update, toggling out of the FSD Beta queue (which I think is now gone), and then an MCU reboot...

I just bought a 2019 Model S with EAP. No traffic light control.

Yes, if your car has the HW2.5 computer, you will need to upgrade to HW3 (Full Self-Driving Computer) to get all EAP functionality like traffic light and stop sign control.

No access to FSD beta after restarting subscription.

Sharing this as I just had a similar issue being on FSDb but seeing the opt-in button that I was able to resolve: - Reinstalled 2022.44.25.5 via Service Mode - Opted OUT of FSDb from Autopilot Menu - Rebooted MCU - FSD now re-enabled and working

Settings Reset After 2022.44.25.5 Update - Unenrolled from FSD Beta?

Settings Reset After 2022.44.25.5 Update - Unenrolled from FSD Beta?

Yeah I was already in FSD beta on 2022.36.20 - the problem is the update to 2022.44.25.5 reset all my settings and the car now thinks it’s unenrolled, so it’s weirdly on the FSD beta build, but not enrolled. I just did an MCU restart to see if that would fix it and it doesn’t seem like it did...

Settings Reset After 2022.44.25.5 Update - Unenrolled from FSD Beta?

I was enrolled in FSD beta on 2022.36.20 before I left for holiday vacation, and when I got back yesterday I had 2022.44.25.5 waiting to install - unfortunately when the update completed, my M3 seemed to be factory reset - all profiles and settings etc. gone. My cloud profile eventually synced...

    Zoom is useless

There's no reason to be rude. The point I've been trying to illustrate to you is that just because you don't deem it a liability doesn't mean Tesla, or governing bodies like the NHTSA don't. At the end of the day, if it were both technically feasible and not a liability of some kind, Tesla would...

    Zoom is useless

I think the line of thinking is that you being a video participant on a call while driving is "distracted driving" behavior. Audio conferencing while driving is functionally identical to a phone call, which is well-established by the NHTSA to be "safe" when done hands-free. There's very little...
  42. cowleggies

    Zoom is useless

Zoom uses between 0.5GB - 1GB of data per hour when sharing video, which would add up quickly. Audio-only streams are between 1/10-1/20th of that. I can easily see how AT&T wouldn't be okay with unfettered video streaming, but fine with audio. But to be clear, I don't think the data use is the...

    Zoom is useless

There's quite a few reasons this is difficult to do, application permissions and stream encoding being two of the largest ones. It helps to remember that at the end of the day, the MCU is running Linux - if you were to try to use your webcam within multiple applications on your computer at the...

    Zoom is useless

Streaming a video is almost exclusively downlink-only data (receiving data from server) - if you're on a Zoom call and transmitting camera feed, you're using a ton of uplink to send that feed. Uplink is considerably more "expensive" from a bandwidth perspective over cellular, and, for the same...

    2022.44.25

So I did some more digging yesterday and it turns out I am actually wrong - surprisingly enough, Tesla is using a Zen1+ APU paired with a Navi 23-based dGPU in some MCU revisions: Tesla Car Computer features Zen+ Ryzen Embedded APU and discrete Navi 23 GPU - VideoCardz.com I can't find anything...

New (to me) 2019 M3 owner

    That's a sweet deal for an M3P! I just got a 2019 M3 SR+, 13k miles, w/EAP, and new tires for $37.5k in November, I'm happy with the deal I got but I'm a little jealous of yours 😁

    Driver profile not always working

I ultimately had to turn off Easy Entry because it was so buggy between my actual profile and the Easy Entry profile. Having my seat slide back a few inches when I'm getting out of the car wasn't worth the hassle.
