T-sportline 18" winter tire and wheel set Michelin X-Ice Chicago

Willing to sell just the wheels only? Looking to put it on a model y performance, so no need for tires and need updated tpms. I'm around the Chicago area for work so I could pick them up.

Ah if that's the case then I guess methods it is.... hoping they would come out with a bronze version.

    Lifted Model Y Owners: Report!

I'd like to get the OZ one in white... 18x8 +38mm like methods. How do I go on about custom ordering it? I see that tire rack carries +45mm. Would that fit? I like the methods but I want it in bronze. Unfortunately only black ones are available in 18s.

FS: 2023 MYP Full Car DIY PPF Kit

I believe the only difference is the cutout for the trunk "dual motor" badge is different. I can reach out and confirm.

    Model Y front windshield replacement

No idea. They did provide a warranty card of some sort for the calibration/windshield should it have any defects down the road. I didn't see any issues or changes in terms of cruise control or lane assist following the repair.

    Model Y front windshield replacement

USAA uses safelite for windshield coverage. Safelite did the work on the MY and the windshield has the Tesla logo on it. They also did the calibration after the windshield replacement. The total cost was around $1400 and thankfully USAA covered it all with having $0 comp coverage.

FS: 2023 MYP Full Car DIY PPF Kit

I never worked with the Tesla one so I can't comment, but obviously this kit will provide more coverage instead of that little section. I believe the kit from drive protected is a 8mil thick with self healing property equivalent to xpel.

Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

Yea, it's just an option via the insurance coverage. I'm in the process of getting a refi through tower fcu and they provide gap insurance coverage for $499, which is another option.

USAA offers Total Purchase Protection coverage which bumps up the value of the vehicle by 20% should you happen to total it. $16 a month for me. I signed up right away once I found out that the car was devalued 20% overnight.

What will happen to current owners once Tesla drops the price of new Y's?

I don't think anyone's willing to sell at a 20k loss for a 2023. I just did a tesla trade in check for fun after the price drop.

Model Y used prices still holding after $13k MSRP cut - when will they drop?

No one's gonna buy private unless they're looking for particular stuff (ppf, tint, or other mods). Used market will crash. Just drive it til the wheel falls off or take a hit on the trade in if you wanna upgrade down the road.

I really feel your frustration. However, I don't think Tesla will do anything about it unfortunately. If they do, great! Just bad timing all around and it's not your fault. It's better to just accept it and move on - at the end of the day it's just a car and you'll replace it down the road...

Model Y used prices still holding after $13k MSRP cut - when will they drop?

For fun I requested a quote through carvana. It has to be reviewed by a specialist lol

New Model Y LR cost is 53000$ today onwards (excluding Tax rebate of 7500$).I bought my model Y in December for 65000$

No. I took advantage of the "great discount" at the time. I figured they'd maybe extend that discount through next quarter if they were desparate but I wasn't expecting a 20% msrp drop. I've never seen a car company drop the msrp of a vehicle that drastically before. It is what it is and...

    Price Cuts? WTF?

Yep it sucks, but nothing we can do now. Just pretend it never happened and just drive it. Get as much out of it during your time of ownership.

Credit Unions with good rates that accept applicants anywhere within the US?

That sounds like a better way to do in if you're worried about not getting approved and not waste $35 in the process.

Credit Unions with good rates that accept applicants anywhere within the US?

I'd just start the application now and get a conditional approval first based on how much you're wanting to borrow. You can get an estimate of the cost of the vehicle through tesla's check out page. You're allowed to borrow up to 125% of the vehicle's value so if you wanna include your...

Credit Unions with good rates that accept applicants anywhere within the US?

You'll need to donate first and then apply for membership right away. Once your account is established, you can apply for the loan or refinance.

Will you go to the Telsa store tomorrow after the price drop

Don't even bother thinking it may happen. What will they do for those who paid for ESD or FSD then?

Free 10,000 supercharging miles have been granted in the app

Nope. Free charging unless you deplete the 10k free miles or they become expired.

Free 10,000 supercharging miles have been granted in the app

If you have 10k supercharging miles showing in your loot box, that balance will decrease after the supercharge and the statement will say free supercharging at $0.00. While charging it'll show you how much it is, but you won't be charged for it.

New Model Y LR cost is 53000$ today onwards (excluding Tax rebate of 7500$).I bought my model Y in December for 65000$

Don't need to impress anybody, but that's what "played" me to purchase the vehicle in Dec 2022 instead of waiting.

Tell me about it. Have to sell my house due to relocating because of work. If I put it up on the market 5 months ago, would have sold it at a crazy price. Thankfully I bought it before the pandemic so it's still way more than what I paid for.

Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

Pretty much. Unless you need the car now, I'd just wait til Q2 imo. The only reason I bought it 2 weeks ago is because I didn't qualify for 2023 tax incentives and felt that it was a good discount incentive at the time. If I did, I would have waited, not because of potential price cuts like...

Credit Unions with good rates that accept applicants anywhere within the US?

You can donate $35 to the TowerCares foundation to become eligible to join. That's what I did. My refinance from 5.34% Tesla to 2.99% is conditionally approved, but current on a hold since the loan agent is waiting for it to hit my credit history to confirm. I bought the car 2 weeks ago so...

Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

Depends on your insurance company, but USAA calls it Total Loss Protection where they'll add 20% to the value of the car should it get totalled. I normally decline this coverage but kinda have to now just in case.

New Model Y LR cost is 53000$ today onwards (excluding Tax rebate of 7500$).I bought my model Y in December for 65000$

Just because I already started off my ownership of the MYP in a shitty way (cracked windshield within days of delivery and then this), I decided to pay an extra $16 a month for gap insurance. It'll offset the 20% drop in value should my car get totalled.
  34. S

Will you go to the Telsa store tomorrow after the price drop

The best damage control they could do is throw in ESD or FSD, but I highly doubt it. Just taking it as a lessons learned on my part. Didn't need the car but at the time it was a "great deal" as I didn't qualify for 2023 tax incentives. $7k lesson but I feel it for others who didn't even get...

Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

If not price cuts, then the rumored radar or whatever. Who knows. If I knew that there would be a price drop like this, I would have never bought the car.

Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

The funny thing is the ONLY reason I decided to buy in December is because I didn't qualify for the 7500 credit for 2024. Thought I was saving some money only to miss out on 7k of savings. I'm ready to go ham on Tesla puts to make it back.

Will you go to the Telsa store tomorrow after the price drop

I also took delivery on the 28th. Even with the rebate, this pricing is $7k cheaper and I wouldn't have had to fly out to pick it up lol. Not sure if FSD would make me happy when the car has trouble with just staying on cruise control haha
