Are you sure this is not for the new Model 3 only?

This was someone's incorrect assumption about keeping the part and flipping it on the eBay afterwards. The price Tesla is charging for the new screen assumes that you surrender the existing (fat bezel) screen to them after the new screen is installed.

How long did it take Tesla to contact your insurance after you submitted the total loss request on the app (where you enter your insurance company, total loss specialist e-mail, etc...)?
