In the documents section of your Tesla Account, you should see a copy of the Delivery receipt that you signed at the SC. I'm not sure if that will suffice for the tax credit. I was told by the SA that Tesla would be sending out whatever documentation is necessary before next tax season.

I never received the 'Expect to receive VIN'. Since you're in the bay area, the time frame between being assigned and scheduling delivery may be very short as Tesla makes its EOQ rush. By the way, I was assigned a VIN the exact day the MYP was built. Good luck!

Beginning in 2023, alternative fuel vehicles lost the preferred AZ annual registration fee. Hence, the annual registration fee has more than doubled. First year is now over $1k. Silver lining - the freeway system in AZ is some of the best conditioned roads that I have ever driven.

If you really can see yourself being happy with the MYP, it's probably worth a shot. Maybe one of the MYPs in No CA will be rerouted to you. By the way, it worked out for me. I made the change on 3/17, and the MYP that was delivered today was actually produced that very day.
