I don't believe any Model Ys are being built with HW4. Only Model S/X. I've seen some sites that try to estimate build date based on VIN, but all that will tell you is a vague answer like "after Nov 2022"

Well, it has now been over 2 weeks since I got the text saying I should get a VIN in 1-2 weeks. My EDD has not changed. Still March 18-31. Certainly feels like taking delivery in March is probably not going to happen. For reference, my order date was 1/17, so it has been almost two months now.

Hopefully this means they are doing a run of blue/white and a bunch of us will get vins! But I fear that those of us waiting on 19" wheels won't be so lucky.

Last year Model Y buyers paid $13K more, couldn't get the $7K tax credit, and had to wait 6 months to get their car. Even if it takes 2-3 months to get our cars, I think we are very lucky and benefitted a lot from being patient enough to wait until this year to order.

Delivery location could be a factor. I've heard some locations get mudflaps and others don't. Of course this is all just people talking on forums, so who knows!

I wonder if people with my exact config (blue/white, no other upgrades) are modifying their orders to add additional options. So I'm not longer waiting behind them in line. I guess some people wanted options that put them over $55K MSRP, which now they can add.
