If there is a will there is a way 😀 try to be persuasive, they want to close your sale by 31st because it’s to their benefit as well. You can say your on vacation from so and so date and that anything beyond this date will not work for me. They will make it happen 😉

I thought the ordering and waiting portion was painful but the logistics team one ups that. Funny part is Tesla knows exactly where the car is but then the reps act as if it vanished from their systems and they have no clue where the car is at

I understand stuff happens and you may have to reschedule, in my case they found out one day before my scheduled delivery date that there is a rail car issue. My contention is they should have known of this before and should have rescheduled things earlier and not one day before your delivery...

I know for East Coast deliveries from Fremont they transport via train until Alabama and then from there it’s trucks to various cities

Depends on your mode of payment, if it’s cash then you can use PLAID to transfer after inspecting or bring in a cashiers check. If it’s financing through other bank then you need to get ur financial institution to wire the money or send in the check before delivery

All the black seats are put in a 7 seater this month 😀 there now 3 Red 7 seaters in Raleigh inventory.

I went with them too, how did the check mailing process work with them? For me they sent it by regular mail last Monday and it looks like Tesla is yet to receive it.

Looks like they had white seats to build until Mar 7th (looking at waiting for Tesla inventory) but after Mar 7th it’s all black

There are trains involved as well, for example from Fremont the cars get on a train till Alabama and then from there gets loaded up on trucks for the East coasters

It’s a new record in Raleigh, never seen a car sitting in inventory for more than few hours and here we have a red one available for one plus day. And it’s still there.
