    Supercharger - Mojave, CA - Sierra Hwy (LIVE 18 Aug 2022, 12 V3 stalls)

Towing S with X I get roughly half the range. Depending on terrain, can get as much as 140 miles out of it, but don't plan anything over 110 to be on the safe side. Real-life example: leave Culver City LA with 245 miles and arrive to San Diego with 9 miles, over 127 mile distance.

Supercharger - Laguna Seca Raceway, CA (LIVE Sep 2022, 8 V3 stalls, possibly restricted access)

Looks like the supercharger is all completed, hooked up, paved and ready to go. I understand it's waiting for the power company approval or something like that.

    chademo/ccs charging issues

@SteelClouds Thanks for the tips. I only use it out of necessity. When you are in the middle of nowhere, you have very few options. I do use Plugshare, and the charger was not reported broken, and my Model X worked off the same plug just fine, while Model S did not. Locally, just to test it out...

    chademo/ccs charging issues

Thanks @SteelClouds - but is it really the adapter or the station ? If the same adapter works fine at one Chargepoint location but not the other, it's got to be their station, right ? And in practical terms, what do I tell Chargepoint besides 'it does not work' ? I think I'd be able to get a lot...

    chademo/ccs charging issues

I am having an issue with both chademo and ccs (Lectron) adapters with Models S and X. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Taking Chargepoint network for example - both adapters will work on one station, but not on another identical looking one a hundred miles away. Or one adapter will...

    Energy usage chart

Just picked up my new Plaid Model S. I can't figure out how to display energy usage chart like we had in older MS and MX. Am I just not finding it, or did they remove the feature ? Thanks

    Cross-country, service centers

Going cross-country next week. In regards to service center availability, seems like there are large gaps in coverage. For example, if the car breaks down in Mississippi, will my choices be to get towed 400 miles to either Dallas or Atlanta ? Or is there a better option ? Thanks

Supercharger - Burbank, CA - North Third Street (LIVE 14 Sep 2017, 20 V2 stalls)

That's how early chargers worked 4+ years ago. It was most evident in the first Barstow SC with 4 stalls, 2 per charger, where it was exactly as you described. And it would take 1.5 hrs to get an 80% charge if you weren't first to get there. Tesla had addressed that particular one, and I have...

Supercharger - Burbank, CA - North Third Street (LIVE 14 Sep 2017, 20 V2 stalls)

Curious, why do you estimate ~1500kVA ? Seems like it would be enough for about 12 stalls at max draw. I'd expect a 20 stall SC transformer to be ~2.4 MW (20 x 120kW max). Or is this where sharing limitation comes in (you share with your neighbor and both get half max) ? I thought Tesla wasn't...

Supercharger - Burbank, CA - North Third Street (LIVE 14 Sep 2017, 20 V2 stalls)

Right, but what choice do people in apartment buildings have ? Appt building managers in LA weren't even willing to discuss it.
