Not sure why its not covered. From what they've said, its the actual struts which have small leaks.

My car has started sagging at the rear end when parked overnight. Had 500kms left on ESA so I took it in... the diagnosis is that I need both air shocks replaced and it’s not covered under ESA. $2620 plus tax (Canadian). Anyone else have this issue? I just realized my Sig is gone P85DL air...

Yup I can't believe its been almost 4 years either. I've had some nice cars in my life, but LOVE my P85DL+... I doubt I'll ever let it go, even when I do eventually upgrade

Yeah agreed. The feeling was from the DU failure. And you’re right, while it does suck the SC is always amazing and I’m sure I’ll have my ride back soon :) P85D loaner for now.

Exactly the same symptoms with mine... and ours were built the same week i think :) I had some other work I needed done so dropped off at the SC.

Just read all these posts... wow! The most telling is the post containing the email from Tesla, essentially confirming all this. As many others above posted, I love my car! But such company practices are starting to wear thin. Sigh.

Yup I was told about this exact same fix the other day... for now I had the SC reapply the Krytox.

What brkaus said above... There were several threads related to brakes seizing up. I had mine done recently, we have all kids of exposure to salt up here.

From what I've been reading on other threads, overall sounds like a no, but its unclear. Personally, even if it's doable I suspect the price factor would be ridiculous. I was actually asking about the P85D upgrade to P85DL though.

I've actually gone through this thought process in the past as well... personally I find mine to feel 'light' in heavy crosswinds, not as light as my STi, but much lighter than I would've previously imagined

I can't find any of these up here! Been looking off and on for the better part of a year now...

I've got my annual service and tire swap scheduled for this Fri at Mississauga... I'll ask about the upgrade/bolt issue, as far as I know I'm 10th in line.
