    2013 P85 Model S $41,999

Hi All, I'm posting my car up for sale, the previous buyer fell through. I'm switching for another Model S because I love this car so much. This is a car with no parking sensors or autopilot, perfect for a driving enthusiast who prefers to be in control. Under full warranty until 2/28/20, or...

Is it possible to toggle to Non-AP style cluster on AP car?

I know this might sound like a ridiculous question. I have a 2013 P85 that I'm debating on trading for a newer car that would obviously have autopilot. I love my 2013's lack of driver assistance, it just lets me drive the car. It's one of my few reservations about the newer cars, and why I'm...

Which car to get AFTER Model S?

I totally agree, definitely considering it.

Which car to get AFTER Model S?

I am facing a privileged conundrum. Which car to get after Model S? Currently have a 2013 P85 (Currently 73k miles) CPO with Warranty to 92k miles or 2/2020 (bumper to bumper), and powertrain til 3/2021. It's still light years ahead of most other cars. Love that it has no AWD, sensors or...

What Don't You Like About Your Tesla?

When you're not on a call, yes it works for that (assuming you leave the background menu on the sunroof setting. If you're on a call and press it, the call will be ended. You need to press the steering wheel menu button, then go to the sunroof, then close it, when you're on a call.

What Don't You Like About Your Tesla?

    1. Lack of interior storage. 2. When the sunroof is open and you receive a call, no one can hear you. Then when you go to close the sunroof it requires multiple gestures regardless of steering wheel or main screen. Very distracting while already driving and already on a phone call. 3. Handles...

1995 Porsche 911 Carrera (993) Polar Silver Cabriolet

As much as I agree with your feelings, I'm going to be a registered Architect in the next few months with a background in construction and need to strike while the iron is hot. As most successful people know, timing plays a significant role in things, and my time is fortunately or unfortunately...

1995 Porsche 911 Carrera (993) Polar Silver Cabriolet

Thanks for the feedback and YES! that's one of the reasons I went with an OBD-1 '95 rather than the 96-98. No SAI issues on this one! I agree I might regret selling it later but I just don't use it enough. I put only 1500 miles on it in the past year. I really only use it between 50-85...

1995 Porsche 911 Carrera (993) Polar Silver Cabriolet

I know this is might not be the crowd for this car, but I figured it couldn't hurt. If you love engineering where form follows function, an air cooled Porsche has a similar philosophy to a Tesla. I'm selling my beloved 911. It is currently on consignment in my friend's warehouse, but this is...

    Drive Unit Replacement Poll

I had mine replaced a month or two ago (June 2016?) 2013 P85, P007XXX Approximately 45k miles at time of replacement. March 2013 production. The car was a CPO, I picked it up with 42,333 miles in February. I don't know if was replaced prior to my ownership.

Tesla Model S CPO Website - Now Live

Thanks guys! Yes, it's such a deal I pulled the trigger almost immediately. I've been systematically watching the site and waiting for the right car, and happened to get really lucky on this one. It popped up, and I think I had the deposit on it within 2 hours of it being posted. It's got 42k...

Tesla Model S CPO Website - Now Live

Been lurking in this forum for a while, and this thread since it started, but I think this is my first post. So I'll introduce myself. I was waiting for the Model 3 unveiling before putting a deposit on a car, but came across a deal too good to pass up last week, and put a deposit on a 2013 P85...

Will the Model 3 be Ludicrously Fast?

The BMW M3 does 0-60 in 3.9, the M5 does 0-60 in 4.2, and the M5 is the more expensive car. Both RWD. It's not unheard of that the smaller, cheaper, sportier car is faster.
