Ok, after reinstalling the apps multiple times and I was finally able to get it working again. Service center mentioned another user was having problems as well but it was working again later in the evening. Still don't know if it is an android app issue given most iOS users didn't experience...

Mark, did you have any issues accessing the car via your mobile app after your firmware upgrade? The service centre had upgraded my firmware and now I can't access it via my Android phone.

I managed to get a hold of Tim Flack (the owner of the SuperchargerQR app) and he mentioned a version for Android is on his "to do" list as well...so hopefully, we will see that available in the play store soon....(keeping my fingers crossed)

Hi Luckylao, I plan to install the Magic Pro so I can enable the Surveillance function of the BlackVue 650. I was told the power of the 12V socket will get terminated once the car is locked so the purpose of the Magic Pro device will provide continuous flow of power to the dash cam unit...
