    Would you consider a Bolt?

Tesla doesn't even need dealers, only service centers. All sales can be done online and if you want to test drive one, visit a SC and try out a loaner, making them a de facto dealer, if they can get around restrictions that way.

    Would you consider a Bolt?

I'd prefer a 3, for all of the above reasons, but it won't be this cycle. My current Leaf lease expires 8/17, and I'm not interested in renewing it, so I'm going to do another 3 year lease on whatever seems best for me at that time. By then I'll have had 5 years of 80 mile cars so a ~200 mile...

    Model 3 leasing

I was planning on lease to own, but that would rule that out. But now I'm hearing that current Tesla customers and employees will get first dibs, effectively putting me out past the end of fed credits, unless something changes, so I guess I'll be waiting for some future CPO. Maybe into the...

    Model 3 leasing

What would a M3 lease for, do you think? Given the $1k deposit, probably another what, $2-3k at ordering, assuming no upgrades, and $7500 fed credit off the top (they do that, yes?), and 12k miles per year on a 3 year lease. The residual will probably be better than what other EVs bring. Think...

Service centers and the Model 3

Az_Rael, it's a valid point, one the general public will surely consider when wondering wether to make the leap to EVs or not. One advantage of the dealership model of other OEMs is that there are a lot of them, fairly well distributed and staffed, and with a host of independent shops besides...

    Supercharger - Auburn MA

The main Macy's store didn't close, just the Home Goods. The theater will go there and the new restaurant will be freestanding and close to the SCs, so ICEing may occur. The Dunkin Donuts isn't that far, or the Shell station, but I'm not sure if either is 24/7. Unlike NJ, the Pike rest areas...

    Supercharger - Auburn MA

Plans were recently approved in Auburn for a cinema and restaurant to be added to the mall. Rumor has it they will replace Macy's Home Goods on the SC end of the mall, so the end of the lot location will still be best for ICE avoidance. In Auburn, boredom is a much higher concern than safety.
