Story in the local paper says plan is for a freestanding 8000 square foot restaurant "next to" the Tesla SCs, so maybe Icing will come to Auburn after all.

Plans were recently approved in Auburn for a cinema and restaurant to be added to the mall. Rumor has it they will replace Macy's Home Goods on the SC end of the mall, so the end of the lot location will still be best for ICE avoidance. In Auburn, boredom is a much higher concern than safety.
