I agree with all points except that my iPhone 6 does work with the lightening connector without any modifications with both the Apple silicone case and the Tesla leather case. Overall, I'm glad I have it. I love the cupholders and the extra storage.

All Teslas lost maps for a time last Saturday night through Sunday morning. Some technical problem with ATT and/or Google.

I had the shiny black plastic covered with a matte black vinyl that matches the rest of the console for $20. No more fingerprints or easy scratches. I was told that scratches, if they happen, can be often treated with a heat gun.

Same with my recently upgraded P85D. Lost LTE, 3G,... Center console reboot fixed it. Didn't need to pull a fuse.

It was wrapped in place and smoothed with a heat gun. The wrap only covers the top and the readily accessible edges. Visually, you can't tell it's a wrap. The vinyl feels good and shows no fingerprints(!). The entire process was done while I watched and took about 10 minutes. I was told that...

I wound up having a wrap shop put a matte black wrap over the piano black that matches the rest of the console. Well worth the 20 bucks. I, too, couldn't stand that shiny black square. My interior is obeche gloss.

Me too... Same error this morning. P85D, recently installed the latest update as well... Service scheduled for Saturday... This may be a firmware issue.

P85D 64XXX went into production overnight! Everything but rear facing seats and deluxe interior. Black, 19 inch standard wheels, tan next generation seats.
