My apologies. My recollection was definitely off.. did not get working AP1 til 10/15 (had to check my phone for a video I made of the experience). But my sentiment remains the same: I believe AP2 was rushed out simply because AP1 cars were out there and Tesla couldn't take a step backwards...

I disagree. Took delivery of my 14 P85 in December 2014, AP1 HW rolled out in January/Feb 2015 if my memory serves correctly, and it just plain worked out of the box. I know there were many posts about people having issues with AP1 staying in lanes, etc... but for my use of it -- and how I use...
