Yes, this is the same autopilot hardware that is shipping with the 2016 models, or at least mostly similar. Autopilot-equipped Model S's are a bit rare - they started including the hardware in September 2014, so they wouldn't have started showing up on delivered cars until December 2014. No 2013...

You might be right - I haven't checked up on this, but would make sense. At any rate, the new car warranty would transfer to the new owner, which for this vintage of Model S is 2 years remaining. Still would have the remainder of the 8 year/unlimited mile powertrain/battery warranty as well.

The Extended Service Agreement can be purchased for $4000, anytime up to 30 days beyond the expiration of the new vehicle warranty period (4 years+30 days).

If you are referring to the Extended Service Agreement offered by Tesla, then yes, as long as it is purchased NLT 30 days past the original warranty period.

That's great news. I just spoke with the crew at the Blue Ash SC last Friday. They indicated something like this was in the works - but not this imminent! Right near my neighborhood, so I'll be able to check progress often.
