Are you considering turning your lease in and transferring it to a Model 3 later?

I am sort of thinking that it may be best to just wait because I have a feeling that by mid 2019 the Model 3 will be better than the Model 3 of 2018. Maybe I am wrong but I may take that gamble.

I completely disagree that they wouldn't show them a preview being they're a sister company but that's just me.

We can take it with a grain of salt but that's just what he said.

Was just on the phone with Solar City and the consultant stated they received an early preview of the Model 3. I asked him if they saw pictures and he said yes, it looks like a smaller Model S. This is just another good source for the Model 3 and backs up your sources claim.

I sort of agree that it isn't "free money", however, if this isn't somewhat true then why do you express it as your car will be less $7,500 everywhere. If that is the case they should change it to, if applicable, and not advertise it like it's "free money".

I feel as though many of the purchasers of the Model 3 will be under the $7,500 owed in Federal Income Tax. Do you guys think the government will make a change on how the tax credit works? Otherwise, Tesla and other sites stating the cost -$7,500, is fairly incorrect for most of the purchasers.

Can someone explain how the tax credit will work? For instance if you only owe 5k in Federal Taxes and get the full $7,500 tax credit, does the 5k go to 0 owed and then you get refunded the remaining $2,500 or do you lose that? Any insight would be helpful.

The Model S even pre-owned is still fairly out of range realistically. Any suggestions on good 2-3 year car to lease to wait for the Model 3?

Autopilot I believe Elon wanted the Model 3 to be the first Tesla that would have Auto Pilot completely available. He is quoted saying "Full auto-pilot capability is going to happen, probably, in the five- or six-year time frame," in 2014.

This has been rumored before and I do not think Elon would ever give up his company. I think if anything Apple may ink a deal for batteries for the devices they make but that's about all the further it will go.

I know Electrek.co has quoted Elon with saying "the Model 3 remains on track for a 2017 release", however, I wonder if that means release to consumers or just release the concepts. I agree with Johaan that most of the features from the Model X and S will be able to be moved to the Model 3...
