Driving to Lincoln from the showroom in Independence MO might be a little dicey depending on the weather. This is EV from KCMO to KLNK. However you could go through Topeka.

BTW, Kansas City, MO SC (Independence) is 194 miles from Lincoln and 182 from Council Bluffs. Not a significant advantage. But going west, Grand Island is critical.
