I will have to dig out the article, but it seems to me the Y will have a significantly less amount of wire than the 3, much like each generation of S and X have meant less. Something like only 10% of the wire that is in the S. In short, it is going to be a completely new animal on a 3 chassis...
I get it - I took delivery on my '14 just before autopilot was announced. That being said, that car is MORE car than what I bought over 3.5 years ago. Name me one additional car company where that is true. That being said, I am leasing my 2017 S. Things are a changing.
Just give it a little love tap. Slight turn. If you fail to do this ^^^ You will see what happens eventually. If you fail to heed initially but resume, it will just cancel autopilot for the rest of your trip. You can still use cruise control however. Happy driving
