    Eastern Canada Superchargers

I have driven from Mississauga to Cleveland about 5 times since I have owned my Tesla. This past Saturday was the first drive with the Grimsby and Erie supercharger. What a difference and it made for a fantastic trip!

    Ontario Free Electricity Program

Just curious if anyone has more information on the last Ontario budget that said we would be able to have free electricity for overnight charging? Is it going to happen and how will it work?

This is a link to a story on Tesla in the Hamilton Spectator today. There is mention of a supercharger in Hamilton in the article but I did not see it in the Tesla video. http://www.thespec.com/news-story/6253783-tesla-e-car-commercial-features-hamilton/

    Trip planner issues - Ontario

Wow, nice to see my comment generated a bit of discussion! For the record, I have 19 inch (tires, not the other thing!) and snow tires. Also, through the entire trip I felt in total control and I say that because of driving the car since May 2013. The longer you drive, the better the feel you...

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

On my trip back from Windsor on Sunday night, charged up at Comber to 300kms range with GPS saying it was more than needed. Pulled into Woodstock with just 4kms of range left. Last 100kms of the drive with heat on and off. Temp was about -10c. Started drive at 120 kms an hour, reduced to 100kms...

Thanks Doug, I have to travel to Ottawa in a few weeks and will take your advice on the route. What is the latest on the Ottawa supercharger?

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

On my trip to LaMalbaie, a couple of comments. Quebec City would have been real nice for a SC. I had to drive a little slower and drift behind trucks to make it from Drummondville direct. I did not need to stop at the Montreal SC but I did anyway on the way back. The traffic around it was...

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

Thanks for the information, very valuable for my first time travelling to the area! I think I will be OK without the CHADeMO adaptor but I am curious where you would borrow one from? It is $450 at Tesla to buy.

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

I am travelling from Mississauga to La Malbaie, QC on the weekend. I assume it is best to go from Cornwall to Drummondville and then direct to La Malbaie? Can I make it from Drum to La Mal? If I have to stop in Quebec City, does anyone have a recommendation? I am staying at the Fairmont in La...

    Supercharger - Buffalo, NY

Its fantastic that this is coming along and the updates from this thread are amazing! My problem is I will be going through the area tomorrow. I have not used Charge point locations before but I have the card and am looking at a couple of spots. Can someone help me with understanding the charge...

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

I bought my Tesla in May of 2013. With the addition of Buffalo, I now feel like Tesla delivered 100% on the promise of superchargers for me to use. I live in Mississauga.

    Supercharger - Buffalo, NY

I was really hoping Buffalo would be up by the end of April. I am heading to Cleveland from Toronto to catch a ball game. Looks like I will need a charge somewhere in the Buffalo area. Can someone make a recommendation for me?

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

Just curious, my driveway was eaten up quite a bit over the winter with the Tesla sitting on it. Is it recommended to have special reinforcement of the driveway when repaving? I know this is an Eastern Canada form but I think all of us consider Buffalo as Eastern Canada! What's the latest on...

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

When I am in Windsor, I always charge at renewable energy tech centre. It is reliable and the guys who run it are big supporters of EV and Tesla. It is listed on Plug Share. The Casino also has 240 and 120 plugs in the valet parking lot. If you ask, they will let you park it there yourself. I...

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

I used the Comfort Inn, Burlington, Ont charger on Wednesday (-22c). It charged at 40amp. It is listed on the Tesla site as 80 amp. I was in for servicing today and they told me that if it is really cold, it is possible that half of the charge will be dedicated to keeping the battery warm? I...
