Reporting back, I turned power save mode off and the outlets still turn off. This was prior to the 17.17.4 update though. I just received my 17.17.4 update on Sunday, May 14 and did not try the power socket again. I may have to do that again now that it is on a different version.

Ahh, good point. I have mine set on power save mode. Maybe I will test the socket again with it turned off. Maybe that will make a difference...

Mine is also a Dec 2016 AP2 build, and can confirm that both 12V outlets do not keep power after the car is powered off. I won't have an opportunity to open up the fuse box until a couple weeks later, so I'll try to report back. In the meantime, if anyone has another solution, or can update us...

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but it seems like after the updates since April, the 12v socket between the front seats and the rear cargo area no longer supply constant power when the car is powered off. Did you guys find a work around? Or am I doing something incorrectly?
