Ruebs, this matches my experience exactly. They replaced my seat and the noise is gone but I feel like it's going to come back soon. Before the replacement, moving the passenger seat forward a little made the noise go away so I'll just stick with that.

To be completely fair, the InsureMyTesla quote I did only had options for $1k deductible vs my $2k. And I also didn't bundle my home on the quote. But those two things certainly wouldn't drop the price by 85%.

Regarding the head rests...I just checked in my 70D which was built in the middle of 2015 (with textile seats) and it matches the "new" head rest height in the picture above. So looks like the old picture (with no console) must have not matched what they have been building for quite a while.

The rear headrests look taller in the new picture. At first I thought it was the angle of the shot but looking at the proportions of how much head rest is below the top of the seat level vs above the top of the seat level, it's definitely taller.
