I trust my vision far more than AP’s for blind spot monitoring. Especially this early there will be edge cases. We also don’t know if blind spot monitoring can catch high speed cars like we can glancing at the rear view camera. This is a big downgrade.

Yes Tesla will accommodate and do this. This was done for my S trade in one state and pickup my X from another state the next day.

I think the 5 seater is fixed and the 7 seater has a bit of wiggle room but there isn’t much additional space to be had at all.

Only a squeak with an easy fix. No issues and very happy with the FWD’s. I used to worry about the doors pre purchase but after experiencing them I am comfortable with them and don’t expect to have problems.

I can confirm that 10.4 recognizes and follows traffic barrels. It gets uncomfortably close but every time followed them and merged on its own.

Ventilation is completely fine in a 5 seater. Heated air at standard temp will melt trunk window snow whether driving or parked in camper mode. And sans the heated element.

I was unimpressed by Super Cruise and it’s relatively limited useage.

The last time it happened I was able to drive while it woke up.

The 8’s I am getting don’t have studs. Our state has banned the use of studded tires. Am I going to be worse off with non studded 8’s?

I had a Model S 70D and have an X 100D. Never an issue with the 70, but the 100D gives so much flexibility. Range anxiety is gone. The later the model is built the generally more updated it is and the more reliable.

The steering algorithms are solid in this. They were already reasonably good. But now my car lane keeps and changed lane Better than I can in normal non taxing situations.

Issues do get resolved even for older cars. I plan to keep the X a long time. I’m not afraid to take it Past its warranty.

Tesla has had worse problems it had to overcome than this. They will succeed ultimately.
