No dash screen -- only 15" touchscreen?

I hope they will add a dash screen or HUD. Because I think my neck will be in pain otherwise. I already get shoulder and neck pain from constantly gazing on my right screen on my dual monitor setup. (I sit sligthly to the left and not in the center so it's my own fault really)

Model 3 reservations ($1000 down) will be accepted in Tesla stores....

Is 10AM PST the official start of reservations worldwide? That means 6PM CET. And poor Australia won't be able to reserve until 1st of April.

Model X windshield on Model 3 - instead of offering a sunroof?

I'm on the west coast (Gothenburg to be specific). And yes I am aware that you CAN drive with the top down in this climate but the question is if it's comfortable. I don't think so. Take last summer for example maybe 2 or 3 weeks without rain and add to that the low temperatures we had. I...

Model X windshield on Model 3 - instead of offering a sunroof?

Well it's nothing like a real convertible but it's more convenient at least in a cold climate. Where I live we may have one or two months with weather suitable for driving with the top down.

Model X windshield on Model 3 - instead of offering a sunroof?

I would love to have the Model X windshield. Sadly I don't think they will offer it since Elon said something along the line of "fewer bells and whistles" on the M3. It would be awesome to have though. It's the only feature on the X I actually want. (and autopilot of course)

What is your budget for the Model lll?

Well I kinda prefer leather but it gets so hot during summer. So if the alcantara is good looking I might pick that. (assuming they even offer it)

What is your budget for the Model lll?

$50K. Autopilot, leather (or alcantara if it's offered) and winter package. And depending if I can afford it premium sound system or smart air suspension.

    Model 3: $1000 reservation

Unless you travel out of state, right?

    Model 3: $1000 reservation

Well the ride quality is important too but not that important. I think there will be reviews of the car before you finalize your order so if it's really, really bad I might cancel my order. If it looks like **** I wouldn't reserve it even if it drove like a Ferrari.

Elon says Model 3 will release first as highly optioned.

My limit is $50K. It's too bad he didn't specify what he meant by "highly optioned" M3's. So we can guess the price point of these cars.

    Model 3: $1000 reservation

I expect the car to be shown to the public during the evening of March the 31st. So does that mean you can reserve the car before the actual reveal? That's kinda stupid, I want to see the car before I put my reservation in. I wanna make sure it doesn't look like a Prius before I make a reservation.

FAQs regarding reserving Model 3 when it is revealed.

Cool, I didn't know this. But does anyone care to guess what time of the day they might open reservations? It will probably be a weird time for us in Europe. Since Tesla are based in PST timezone.

FAQs regarding reserving Model 3 when it is revealed.

So what do you guys think my chances are of reserving a signature edition the day after the event?
  14. fword101

I'm bored, when do we get more info on the 3?

All I want to know is what the reservation price for the Sig edition will be... Will I have to wait until the reveal?

Model 3 reservations -- How does Tesla handle reservations?

So how does this usually work, does Tesla open up the reservation website before or after the announcement of a new model? And will the reservation deposit be announced beforehand?

Model 3 Signature Edition - guess the price

Each to his own but I prefer BMW over GM  And it's not only about getting the car faster, it's about owning a limited edition. Model 3 might be the car that will make the world understand that EV's are the future. So how awesome wouldn't be to own one of the first 1000 ever made? Yes...

Model 3 Signature Edition - guess the price

So far a Signature version has been available for all Tesla models. And it's always limited so I don't see what they have to lose on releasing one. The base model will still be available for $35k. I don't think we should compare Tesla with GM. BMW is a better comparison. Sig Model 3 = BMW M3...

Model 3 Signature Edition - guess the price

I'm hoping to get a Signature Edition of the Model 3. I'm saving up as much as I can to 2017. Obviously we don't know yet if there will be one. But I am pretty confident that they will offer it. What do you guys think the price will be? I'm thinking they will add 10k to 20k on the price, so...
