Thanks, araxara, but I should have specified that I can't find the latest release notes (i.e. from the update I installed last night 3/11/2016). Seems like there's some lag time before they're posted?

Has anyone tried to access the release notes on the Tesla website? I can't find 'em anywhere! Seems like a no brainer to me. And am I the only one who thinks that the site is really lame for such an amazingly advanced company?! What do other owners do if you want to read the release notes...

Having the exact same problem on a three-month-old model s, maybe once or twice a week at random. Should've searched the threads before posting. My bad. Thanks for the suggestion to clean the sensor. After reading all these posts, I definitely won't bother calling customer support. Bugs happen.

Ha! Good one, Shady! Thanks for the reply. But seriously, we have an extremely narrow driveway, with just enough space between the fence and the house for the Model S to fit with mirrors tucked in. Right now, my wife just backs up v-e-r-y slowly to avoid literally "bouncing off the walls"...

Last spring, Tesla was advertising Autopilot on their home page with the claim that this feature would soon enable the Model S to start at a pre-determined time, back down the driveway by itself, and park in front of your house (on private property, of course). They don't seem to be talking...

Just a friendly note to say "hi" to my fellow Tesla fans (fanatics?) around the world. My wife and I took delivery of our stunning new Model S 70D a couple of weeks ago, and we're still in the honeymoon phase (with the car, of course).
