Hi all, Wanted to share a few AI models based on some of the Tesla lineup. These are hosted on replicate, and should allow free runs when signed in with a github account. I can run some generations through upon request, it's super fun trying to get specific outputs (take a look at the...

Tesla Original Men’s Dress Shirt + Pin – S/M Unopened - Hamilton, ON, CA

Since it's the official Tesla uniform I'd expect the sizes are true (probably not much leeway) but I could be wrong - the shirt is sealed and I've never worn any of the dress shirts so unfortunately I don't have any first hand knowledge to reference.

Question about water ingress surrounding frunk

Hi all, Today I power washed my 2021 Model 3 SR+ at a local auto wash and when I lifted the frunk lid after finishing I was shocked to see water and soap on the plastic surrounding the frunk. The frunk was dry however - the hefty seal around it definitely prevented any ingress. I removed the...

Does anyone know how to fetch data about the account? I’m referring to the page one sees when logging into the myTesla portal online - the account details and documents associated with the account. Thanks :) (Added screenshot)

    [Mac App] Tapp

Hello everyone, just want to let you know I'm working on version 3 of Tapp and I have released a proprietary version of Tapp (v2.0.2) to get you by while I continue development of version 3. Please find the latest release here Thanks, Hudson

    [Mac App] Tapp

Wow, thanks for the info, I had no idea! In this case, the app wouldn't be able to communicate with the roadster at all.
  9. Carspotter Daily

    [Mac App] Tapp

I assume the roadster uses the same API; therefore the application would interact the same with the roadster. I do not have a roadster to try the app with, so I have no way of knowing for sure. However, I could be wrong in my assumption, and in that case, the app wouldn't work too well with the...

    Model S REST API

Thanks for the info. I'm guessing my problem is in the JSON array that's sent. I can get the number of vehicles with the count field, as you stated, but cannot seem to access the data from the second or third vehicles, only the first.

    Model S REST API

Hello, Would anyone be able to provide payload from a /api/1/vehicles/ request? I'm looking for two or more vehicles to test multi-vehicle support on my application. Any help is greatly appreciated!
  14. Carspotter Daily

    [Mac App] Tapp

Interesting, I've included support on the vehicle selection screen for two Tesla's, however I can't test it because I only have one vehicle. Does it show your vehicles on the Vehicle Selection screen?

    [Mac App] Tapp

Hello, I have spent a lot of time working on the new Tapp, and hope that is evident in the latest release. Since I now have developer signing, I have included a conventional .dmg disk to install Tapp.app. I've tried to make the best possible user experience, and feel that the app could be...

Mac Tesla App - (Tapp 1.5 release)

Https is on all of the time; but SSL certificate verification is off by default. If the network is deemed unsafe, then the app will also check if Tesla's SSL certificate is valid before using the API.

Mac Tesla App - (Tapp 1.5 release)

Thanks for the idea! I'm working on version 2 and will try to include proxy support. How about something like the following: App checks the current WiFi network name (SSID) App then prompts user to select either Home or Away options (Saves selection for current SSID) If the user selects home...

Custom warning/alarm through the Tesla API

So, as some of you know, i've developed an app for macOS to control Tesla vehicles. I decided to add an alarm button into the next version(V1.5). This sends two commands to the Tesla API every 3 seconds until the user hits the stop button. These commands are flash lights and honk the horn in...

How to leave vehicle on when outside of vehicle

I like to do the same when i wash the car - I get in, "start" the car, then roll the window all the way down and hop out. Of course, as soon as the door closes, the car shuts off, but since i have the window down, i can reach in and tap the screen to turn the car back on. Then, just reach in and...

[Video] Managed to create an AEB instance

As Max* stated above, it's AEB. AutoPilot and TACC will normally slow down for objects if they are a safe distance away - i actually have a video on that as well.. But if a vehicle or pedestrian steps into the path of the car and the driver doesn't react, the car will (in most cases) even if...

[Video] Managed to create an AEB instance

After so many attempts to get AEB to kick in, i've got it! The reason it took so many tries is because the driver hit the brakes before AEB could engage. It's hard to say if the car would have stopped in time, had the driver not braked in those instances. Anyway, the video is below along with...

    Another video on pedestrian avoidance

That is awesome! I attempted the same thing a few days ago, and found that AP1 kind of notices bicycles - i had some really weird indications on the UI. I'll post the video on this forum today. Glad to see AP2 has that capability!

Performance: Launch Mode vs. Stomping the Accelerator

In theory, launch mode would be faster, because it combines the right amount of wheel spin and power to achieve close to a perfect launch. But you never really know as there are a lot of factors like precipitation and wind resistance which effect the car's overall stability and acceleration. I'm...

    Another video on pedestrian avoidance

I just ran some more tests today, and no emergency features activated, the only thing that happened was the ultrasonic yellow proximity indicator illuminated from the pedestrians side of the car. I took a right-hand corner at both 20km and 30km and had the pedestrian cross halfway and just after...

    Another video on pedestrian avoidance

I'll do some more tests shortly - Almost the exact same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago, and the car didn't detect the pedestrian at all. It would be interesting to see if an AP2 car would detect the pedestrian in that situation.

    Another video on pedestrian avoidance

It uses sensors in the front bumper to detect a pedestrian impact, then activates hydraulics(?) to jack up the rear of the hood to form a metal cushion for the pedestrian. This reduces head injuries - i believe. You can find more info here: https://www-nrd.nhtsa.dot.gov/pdf/esv/esv21/09-0067.pdf
