As @Kaliprncss17 said! Demo is well underway. Electrical contractor (same as for Ontario #2) has set up a small compound which currently contains only a few pieces of large diameter conduit. They plan to start digging next week. Fair to tag this as under construction? @Chuq @MarcoRP

Drove by two days ago. Supercharger cabinets and switchgear cabinet are all in place on the equipment pad. No transformer yet.

As of yesterday afternoon, gravel was at grade, compacted and rolled. Storm drain connected. Someone working on the site expected paving soon. Transformer vault was still serving as a refuse pit. Looks like that will be the rate-determining step, as usual.

Today is opening day for the service center! There is an excavation crew working in the area that Blackstone has fenced off in the lot along Mission Street. It looks like they are doing site prep outside the curb.

I believe those freestanding white cabinets are the distribution centers which will feed power from the big green utility transformers (which will sit on the concrete vaults next to them) to the superchargers.

Stayed in Myrtle Creek June 3-6. There was no sign of construction or location marking in town, at Ray's Food Place, or at the most likely location (already mentioned) south of town on I-5 at exit 103. I'd watch the east end of the strip mall parking lot next to the Grocery Outlet.

No change over last few days. There is power to the meter, which is sitting at “zero”, and the “Tesla” on the stalls is not illuminated. Looks like the site is ready and waiting for activation.

Agreed. A supercharger in McDermitt would make a better spaced/adapter-free/much faster split than the Greenlots CHAdeMO now in Orovada, especially for those of us with lower range in cold weather.

If you zoom in on the most recent photos, you will be able to see the underside of solar panels and some of their associated hardware.

Oops. I did the metal ring bit backwards. It's the thicker V2 cables that have a shiny metal ring. And the V3 cabinets in the pictures from Lacey WA appear to have a rectangular cross-section and a raised hatch on one side...so just go with the ventilation grille all around the top. Or ignore...

Good question! These are V3. You don't get much chance to see them in the pictures from this site, since they're mostly hidden either under their shipping covers or behind the brown walls of the equipment enclosure. But they are visible in the photo in post #152. They're the slightly smaller...
