The NEMA 14-50 wall connector only charges at 40A, where the hardwired wall connector charges at 48A. Not all Model 3s can take advantage of 48A speed though….

Must be their charger. I have a Clipper Creek 32A charger and it works flawlessly with my Model 3 & J1772 adapter.

Tesla shop shipping is hit or miss in my experience. I ordered a 2nd set of phone cables for the tray. Supposedly in stock when I ordered. It took almost 5 weeks and at least 3 emails to get them delivered.

It is disappointing to be last in the US (I am also in the East), but Tesla pretty clearly spelled out the rollout plan in their blog. I am not sure why everyone is so surprised. I am hoping to take Factory Delivery to work around the issue if CA fixes the sales tax thing.

Well if California passes SB-680 (removes requirement of collecting CA sales tax for out of state purchasers), then Factory Pickup is the way to go. Oregon (no state sales tax) might also be an avenue for delivery :)

5 stations (computers and iPads) at the Atlanta-Decatur store. Took like 3 mins tops.

A lady in front of me at the Atlanta-Dekalb Tesla store does voiceover work (including some for 11Alive news). She texted some of her friends at the station to try to get them to come out and film the 200 folks lined up at the store and they weren't interested. No news crews at all at our location.

I ordered around 10:30 and my reservation number also has shown up in My Tesla account. No email confirmation yet though....

I have not received an email confirmation, but I do see my reservation on the teslamotors.com site when I login with my account (that I had already created many months ago). So no emails doesn't seem to be a cause for concern at this point....
