I'm not sure about the phase issue, if the fuse was blown it would not be able to charge at all and/or would drop to 40amps from 80amps max. (If it worked at all depending if it was master or slave charger) But I'm not sure about dual charger set up's.

If you can change a valve cover gasket you can replace the fuse in the onboard charger. It's one of the simpler things I've done to cars. Hardest part is removing the seat. There's no danger to the battery pack. If it was something bad enough to damage the pack then it would just blow the fuse...

You've had 17" touchscreens in other cars? I'd bet larger surface area is harder to keep glued together. A perfect glue job doesn't develop spots years later from a "defect", I would bet money heat is the primary factor. Maybe they changed their UV Loca glue to a more heat tolerant glue...

Ironically recently on July 12th i posted on FB Tesla group about if charging at a lower rate would prolong the lifespan of onboard chargers. The first night I did it at ~25 amps instead of 40amps it blew. Not saying it caused it, but odd timing indeed. Probably gonna charge at ~35 amps now.

After sleeping on it last night.. the real problem here is they don't offer a core charge for the charger. They're happy to take it if you don't ask for it back, but they should give you a core charge for 80-85% of the cost of the remanned charger they put in. That would eliminate the whole issue.

If it was just 11 hours at work and not extended parking I strongly suggest leaving COP on, it will definitely have a big impact on the lifespan of the electronics in the car.

Exactly, either would work. Main reason is I'm fine with my P85 but I know the 60 or similar models are probably tight with the mountain on mileage.
