Navigation won't work. Says "Service required"

After the previous firmware updates, my nav quit working. I have hard reset the whole system but still can't get the nav to locate where the car is or navigate anywhere. The error message I get is "Service required" and nothing else. I am on AP 1.0. Firmware is all updated. I searched the forum...

Heated steering wheel not working after .16

I left San Diego for a week and came back to winter! Tried to use my heated wheel today and it's not working at all. I didn't like the sticky setting, but I definitely use the heat when it's 50º outside. Called service and they could find no faults, so suggested it's likely software related. Did...

Car abruptly shifts to park when reversing. Easy Entry issue?

This has happened to my in my S recently and now my hubby in his new 3. Anyone else having this issue? I think it's related to Easy Entry as I was struggling with that feature when it happened to me. I have since deleted the Easy Entry profile and all has been good.

    Cracked forelink?

Was driving yesterday on the freeway in AP in heavy traffic with 3 kids in the car, and the car stops suddenly and successfully, but then a terrible sound emanates from the left front wheel. Kids crying so I pull off the freeway thinking something is caught on the wheel/tire to find the back of...

Miles, not hours paradigm shift. Thinks that make you go 'Hmmmm...'

Miles, not hours paradigm shift. Things that make you go 'Hmmmm...' I've come to realize how I now have to think of miles to get somewhere rather than the usual, "Oh, it's about 2 hours away." It's nice. Seems more 'relevant' somehow. Just another EV shift in thinking, I suppose.

Is it still called a "FRUNK" in Australia? What about other countries?

Just was thinking about this today as my hubby is Aussie and we sometimes still have little word confusions when I ask him to get things. For example, it's a 'boot' not a trunk. So is it a 'froot' in OZ? or still a "frunk"? And what about other countries? I assume their display controls are in...

    Nav snail trail?

I searched but could not find a thread, so apologies if this has already been discussed. Lately, my kids and I have noticed that when I navigate to a destination, there is a "snail trail," their words, from where we've come, but no blue line to where we are headed. And sometimes there's an...

Tire pressure warning AND now covers up autosteer warning on IC

I have a new P90D delivered 10/8/15 and just today on my first longer out-of-town trip received a tire pressure warning for the rear left tire. When I checked the new TPMS monitor in the dash it showed at 38psi and others were all at 39-42psi. This seems low all-around for the tires that are...

    Blind Spot Warning?

Is there a Blind Spot Warning? I cannot find it under Driver Assistance and there is no mention of it in the updated manual in the car. I do find mention of it in the PDF version on MyTesla.
