Model X Blizzak DM-V2 Winter Tires and 19" Rims - Located in Northeast Ohio

Hey there! I have a set of Model X 19" Blizzak DM-V2 Winter Tires mounted on 19" rims. They were originally gunmetal grey but have been plastidipped black (can be easily peeled off if desired). I bought these for my Model X lease which I returned in June. I downsized to a performance Model 3 so...

    2014 Model S 60 - 10k miles - $60,399

Selling my Pearl White 2014 Model S 60. This is an awesome car with Autopilot and only 10,500 miles. Just purchased in October 2015 so it has almost the full warranty left! Also includes a set of winter rims and tires with only one Winter on them and the Tesla winter mats. The car is in really...

Production (Non-Sig) Model X Vin #'s now being issued

Mine has updated on My Tesla to April - Early May. There was previously no delivery estimate, just the one my DS gave me.

Production (Non-Sig) Model X Vin #'s now being issued

Just heard from my Delivery Advisor and received my VIN in the 36xx range. Of interest, my reservation number was in the 19,000s (reserved late, last Summer). May delivery timeframe. P90DL, 22" Onyx Black Wheels, Autopilot, Premium Package, UHF Sound, 6 Seat, Pearl White, White Seats, Black...

    3rd row wi-fi

I imagine this one got cut due to time constraints and will get enabled in a future software update like the auto-presenting doors on approach.

Chevy Bolt - 200 mile range for $30k base price (after incentive)

GM has no charging network. It was mostly-fine when Tesla did it because everyone buying a Model S was an admitted "early adopter" and understood EV-limitations and avoiding range anxiety. To try to release a mass-market car without the charging network in place (GM's or someone else's) seems...

    Sig 303, Vin 731 Delivered 12/31/2015

This video is the best overview of the X interior I've seen thus far. Thanks for sharing and congrats!

What would you change about your model S?

I would put the Model X bumper on it. Death to the nosecone!

Upon Delivery: How much charge do they put on?

My MS 60 inventory car was 100% charged when I picked it up.

    HPWC/UMC Charger Plug Case?

Anyone seen any protection for the charger plug on the HPWC/UMC? I've rubbed mine on the concrete once or twice when coiling/uncoiling in the garage and hate to see it get even the smallest of scratches! Anyone come across any kind of plastic, silicone or rubber sleeve case for it?

Washing Car - Auto Window Movement

Get a can of compressed air or use a compressor to blow a couple of puffs of air in there first to displace the water and then wipe it up. That's what the car washes around here do.

    Evannex CCI front console

As mentioned, the door does close. It works nicely. I don't have the 6 Plus but the iPhone 6s is fairly snug so I can't imagine the Plus fitting unless you maybe inserted it diagonally. To be honest, I find the positioning of the slot to be awkward as it requires coming in and out at a strange...

New Superchargers coming to I-81 corridor in Northern Virginia

Great news! We sorely need superchargers on the 77/64 corridor in Ohio and West Virginia. There's rumors of one at the 77/70 exchange in Ohio but I haven't heard anything else about it. The only one on 77 is currently in Macedonia which can't get me anywhere near the pending Wytheville stop...

When will 100+ KWh battery become available?

Just speculating but it seems like if Tesla was close to offering a 100 KWh battery, they would offer it with the X. Considering they just announced the 90 KWh battery for the Model S (based on development for the X) in July 2015, and that was only a 5 KWh bump from the 85 they announced with...

WTB: Want to trade 21" Silver Turbine for 19" Cyclones

I'm looking to swap the opposite way (19" turbine to 21" turbine) but I'm in Ohio. Not sure if it's worth the hassle of shipping?

Federal Tax Credit for Inventory Cars

As long as it hasn't been previously titled, it's fair game for the tax credit. I've not yet received mine (will be in this 2015 tax year filing) however my accountant has confirmed that it's based on the titling of the car for eligibility.

    Center and Reat Console

I have the EVannex center console in Black Leather/Carbon Fiber and love it. It was less than the Tesla center console and has flexibility in storage/cupholder options. You simply drop it into the center floor area (with a bit of a firm push) and it flexes out slightly and holds into place...

    Model X Falcon Doors

If you're so against the windshield and falcon wing doors, get a Model S. Seriously. Same rolling chassis, better battery pack size to range, the cargo areas are comparable in size (better in some ways on the Model S) and you can throw a luggage carrier on the roof for what doesn't fit.

    Boston Terrier here!

    Model X Falcon Doors

Seems very unlikely. The entire body is engineered around those doors opening to towards the top and the glass coming back over the front seats. The panoramic roof on the Model S is just a roof change. That would be a roof change, door change and windshield change.

    CPO program. Only pre-autopilot cars..

I purchased a loaner 60 with autopilot for a steal from the CPO page last month. Still qualified for the $7500 tax credit and got the $2000 referral credit from a friend (I live in Ohio where you get both halves). This 60 will hold me over until my P90D comes in the summer!

How quickly is autopilot "learning" about its trouble spots? Anybody experience it?

On the press phone call, Elon Musk said that the car reports back to Tesla engineers for review when a user disengages Autopilot. Additionally, data about what the user did when Autopilot was disengaged is also provided so that Tesla engineers can quickly determine what in that scenario needs...

Speculation: Model X will contain "full autopilot" IE self driving.

Google, Mercedes and I believe Tesla, have also accepted responsibility. I think they realize the only way they'll get legislation changes (in any near-term decision) to allow autonomous driving is to step up and say they'll accept blame.

Media and the price of Model X

The stock dropping is a great opportunity to get in for more shares. I'm waiting for it to fall a bit more and then I'll take a stake. Tesla is doing awesome things but it's still spending way more money than it makes. I understand why Wall Street is bearish on it in the near-term.

If there was comparable EV SUV available now would you buy over the X?

If there was a Range Rover Sport EV, I'd consider it.

I don't mind the 'buttons', but

There's still at least one set on the top of the falcon wing doors that was visible at the event. The rest of them do seem to be gone on the sides and bumpers though.

Model X Doors / Door Handles

I was at the event and saw it up close. The door handles are touch sensitive strips for manual opening of both the front doors and the falcon doors. The presenting is disable-able per a Tesla employee and they we're utilizing this during the test rides to speed things up.

Model X Launch Event: Plus One Requests / Plus One Offers

I was able to contact Tesla and acquire a second +1 (guess that makes it a +2?) spot for a friend of mine that is a P85D owner and considering the X. YRMV though.

Configuration of 2 captains chairs and 6 seats is available now.

Very much a fan of the 6-seat layout. As a young guy in his 20s, kids (and packing in maximum people) are not on the radar!
