Not sure if it's related, but there was an issue with Apple Watch 3, iPhone X and Bluetooth connectivity that was fixed in a recent update to the Apple Watch. During calls using Model X's speaker/mic, I can hear the caller, but they couldn't hear me. After the update, all is working fine for me.

Took my Model X 75D (Aug 2016 with VIN 14xxx) and got it uncorked today. Verified with P1 perf_config setting. The energy consumption ring now goes all the way to the end and punches you back into the seat off the line when you floor it.

It has a USB connector to charge the battery that comes with the wifi hotspot. So I got a cigarette adapter that has a USB port to keep it plugged in and keep the hotspot powered up.

@Qbenjamin I had similar problems with my BlackVue 650S in my Model X. It turned out that I had my wifi hotspot too close to the dashcam. After I moved my wifi hotspot to the trunk area, that problem went away and GPS would lock on in about 2 to 3 minutes of driving. Hope this helps!

I average about 15 MB of data usage per DAY on the wifi hotspot with just event and cloud connect/disconnect notifications. Are you using live view or pulling recordings over the cloud? Connect using wifi with your dashcam instead of the cloud to view recordings to minimize your hotspot usage.

I got the free service from FreedomPop which includes free LTE coverage, but it will disconnect if it drops to 3G unless you upgrade your account which is no longer free. The hotspot will auto switch between 4G/3G, but your account service has to be upgraded to allow for that. Hope this helps!
