This used to be the TSLAQ block list guy: https://twitter.com/paul91701736 if you are blocked by him, you are on that list. if you block him first, it reduces the chance of being on the list.

My biggest fear is discouraging (or stopping) Tesla from doing things so Twitter or SpaceX get them, such as AI work. Or Tesla paying Twitter to do things they could have done in house.

When I was young a keyed a car for doing that to me. I had a hatch and had to go in that way over two seats. Today would not key the car, but then I just sat in my driver seat and backed out with a screwdriver in my hand. Summon would be better.

I personally am priced out. $30,000 extra is too much. I would have gone $15,000 extra but that’s it. most probably I will buy a model Y

Every one I know who actually tows big stuff, tows it 40 miles or less. That is mostly equipment and boats. yes, I know 1 in 30 tow mobile homes but that is not a major market segment. 350 miles is good for for more people than Tesla can build for in the next three years.

It will take the market a while to figure this one out. Ford will almost certainly be paying into the build out of the super charger networks once the nacs connector is built in. This will mean more chargers and better not worse availability for everyone. Long term it will be increased profits...

Looking at just the 4680 one could see that…. But with the 4680 how many extra cars per week are they making versus batteries they would NOT been able to get? What is the profit on those extra cars? I figure that is thousands of model Y per week. The 4680 program itself may be losing money...

By me in Maryland I can get a model Y at Hertz for $40 a day if I go to the airport…. On Turo I can get an assortment of nine year old vehicles for that price or a Tesla for $88. Interesting they have a ford lightning for $89. There used to be a lot more cars on Turo but not anymore.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Absolutely. It will be entirely motor driven. If the motors fail and the rear wheels are not straight , you are not driving today. That is a huge downside. Some mitigation could be if it could be totally switched off , then at least the rear wheels are straight.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I really don’t want 4 wheel steering. I hope that is an option or not available at all. I mostly don’t want to pay for it, but also the increased complexity and risk of failure are troubling. I am hoping 2 motor versions start around $60k Or less.

Teslas make great cop cars , especially with normal routine policing. But you will be disappointed if you think a Y would do well against a top Dodge hemi in a police chase. The plaid S would do well, but a Y LR would lag , and easily be outrun If road was open. Does not matter much while...

The model x is special in so many ways. Its looks are not for everyone but between the falcon doors and the tech nothing compares. And it’s the fastest 6/7 seater period, unless you count vehicles that require oxidizer and a ground crew.

This is the USA's to screw up. China WANTS desperately to feel like they are in control and not loose face. China at the same time will not send much to Russia. We unfortunately need to look the other way for a small amount of aid. We are not ready for a trade war, neither is China, but the...

There is a lot of talk about how HW3 cannot be retrofitted to HW4. Elon even said so. But it is not really true. The cost is just higher than Tesla would like. A new FSD computer could be designed that fit current cars. This is not a challenge, and there are enough cars to make it worth...

No. Because the federal funding will be so big and outrageous that Tesla with it's finely tuned supercharger building machine will be able to take the money and add these chargers at near zero cost, increasing the amount available to Tesla owners even with the other EV's factored in.

Tesla solar and megapacks can help, by giving power to hospitals and operations that feed people. The scale of the disaster is huge though. For example, just getting the stuff to where it is needed is very difficult due to road issues. The best solution might be for Tesla to concentrate on...

There is a $1000 difference due to the 20" induction wheels, but I do think the 269 mile range car is a bad deal and would go for the 330 mile range car myself. Maybe they should drop another $1000 off the 269 mile version? One note... the odds that the 269 mile version is eligible for $7500...
