Just visited Giga Berlin, not much going on. Huge construction site which really seems to be located at a nice spot strategically. Highway right next to it and access to the railway. Also nice to see that they use pre-fabricated steel pillars. edit: forgot to add the pictures

Regarding refresh, greentheonly found some stuff mentioning project “Raven” in the firmware: green on Twitter But he says something might come out in 6 months which would be too long for my taste.

Interesting, when you configure a Model 3 in Germany they have an option to also order Solar Panels and a Powerwall. This is the way we are headed.

Closing most of the stores is a genius move. They can shift the people working in sales to deliveries and service. This way they solved three problems: -price reduction that allows Model 3 SR -delivery hell -service hell

I think you are overestimating the amount of people that believe the $35k Model 3, Autopilot HW3, Supercharger v3 and a Model S/X refresh will come. Most people expect one of these things but not all of them. So if Tesla were to unveil all of these things, I think you could see the stock rise.

Wow Polestar just admitted that they created the Polestar because of the success of the Tesla Model 3!

I like the Polestar 2. They shouldn't have used puch cells and I am not 100% convinced of the design but I like the direction they are going. Much better then the Audi e-tron or Mercedes EQC. I just wish they would partner with Tesla on the Supercharger network but unfortunately it seems like...

That also sounds like they will have some capacity for changing the S and X to 2170s. 2 GWh is nothing for a completely new manufacturing line, weren't their older lines doing something like 5-7 GWh each?

Yeah of course it will be called Long Range or sth like that. The point is I still think they will introduce a battery pack with at least 400 mi of range.
