Oh, I forgot to mention I've set the Tesla app to charge at 23:30 to avoid any initial peak rate charging when plugging (seems to be a tip that's worked well for others)

Yep, I've noticed a nice improvement in efficiency over the last few weeks as the temperature has steadily improved. My lifetime efficiency (5.5k miles) is now down to 320 Wh/mi. It was up at around 340 I think. What's generally the average for a M3P?

Yeah, good shout. I did think of Dalton Park actually. Bit more off the A19 than the services but not by much, and would still be a good choice with all the shops/outlets there. Plus, as you say - would serve both directions.

That'd be a good location too, as it's right on the Sheraton junction - dead easy to get to, and would be ideal for those using the A19.

Yeah, there could definitely be more SCs in the North East. Scotch Corner and Washington are the only options. A19 would be a good shout and there are a few sites I can think of that could host them.

If you haven't already, give your insurer a call. The renewal price they send you is always inflated and they can come down - especially if you have comparative quotes from elsewhere. Slightly off topic but would like to see Tesla Insurance be launched over here...

Just wanted to chime in that I've come across this. Very disappointing - hopefully its corrected soon. Glad there's a workaround for youtube at least.
