Planning for 3 days long trip in NYC ... I understand there are 'more charging stations in NYC than gas station' as Tesla mentioned multiple times, however, looking at their map, pretty much all of them are inside parking lot or private facilities avaliable for patrons only. I don't mind to pay...

Anyone find their rain sensor terrible or is that just mine? I find both settings are not sensitive enough and when the wipers are on, they are also not 'fast' enough. :(

According to the Tesla menu, the transponder can be placed above the head at the edge of the huge windshield. It works for me only half the time ... Not sure if it is just my transponder battery or not. Where do most people put it? Or just hold it in your hand, or using exterior one??

How long does it take to get the check for your trade in with Tesla? I traded in my vehicle and leased the current X, I was told it could take couple weeks for Tesla to mail you the check of the trade in $ ... Any idea how long? :confused:

Planning for an upcoming 500 miles trip next month and not sure if I should just depends on the in-car trip planner or the Ev trip planner website. Another thread has mentioned that the in-car trip planner does not take the elevation in the consideration while the EV trip planner site has no...

Does anyone know how to reset the second row seat? I believe, for some reason, the computer and the actual second row seat location is out of sync. It keeps warning me that the seat is not latched, or not all the way back, even though it can't go back any further and the central screen continue...

Am I the only one who feel the GPS always prompt too late for next turn or am I driving too fast? :D I seem to always miss the turn unless I watch the screen closely. Is there any way to adjust it prompts earlier?

New to Tesla and some questions about Tesla internet that comes with Model X ... Is that lifetime free? Is that LTE? Is there roaming charge if the car is driven out of country (like Canada?)? Is that fast? Can it be used as a hotspot?

First time getting a EV and I am wondering if there is a need to sign up with Plugshare or chargepoint? There seem to be plenty of superchargers around and the X has 220+ miles range. How about destination charging at a hotel? Do I need to have an account?

I never had a EV, but out of curiosity, is there any benefit for getting a EV or EV plate in Mass? Does EV always have an EV plate? Any HOV lane use or parking meter benefit? Doubt that there's any benefit in Massachusetts ... Maybe my proper question is if there is any surcharge to get an EV...

I understand that all car dealerships trade-in are crappy but, in exchange, I think they offer convenience. Anyone have experience with trading in their vehicle with Tesla on day of delivery? Are their trade in price ridiculous??
