Any Fremont Ys with cargo cover/package shelf yet?

Just took delivery of a MYP in Houston. F541 VIN. Cargo shelf was included. No mobile connector.

    7 seater and HVAC issues?

Didn’t think about putting that middle seat on the 2nd row down. That should get some cool air to the third row!

    7 seater and HVAC issues?

We are coming from a 2016 Model S with the 3rd row rear facing jumpseats. One of the issues we've faced when our kids are in the 3rd row is the lack of heating/cooling back there. We live in Houston, and the heat can get (almost) dangerous back there in the middle of the summer. One solution...

    V10 on MCU1

As a data point, I have a 2016 Model S 75 (RWD) AP1 with the updated nose cone. Still no V10 for me. I had an update showing yesterday, and it only updated to 2019.32.2.2.

Clip on fan to cool 3rd row seats

I have those exact fans, but I have 4 of them. 2 to draw cool air to the back, and 2 to have cool air to their faces (if they want it). That system seems to keep my kids placated if I put them back there! (Especially during the hot Texas summer)

Updated Model S - Rear Facing Child Seats Ventilation?

After 1 year with my Model S with the 3rd row jumpseat, the solution I've come up with is to have 4 clip on fans with rechargeable batteries back there. I have 2 to draw air from the main cabin and 2 to provide fresh air to my kids. It has gotten to the point that my 8 year old gets queasy (he...

    70 to 75 Who upgraded?

I upgraded a couple of months ago when it was $3k. (Boo!) 90% went from 205-207 to 218-222 100% went from 223-227 to 242-248 Currently at 16k miles, almost a year old (June 2016 delivery) I needed it when taking a road trip where I had stretch of 215 miles (Jackson, MS to Memphis, TN). I...

    Whats your range? S75!

I'm in that ballpark. I have an S 75 RWD and get about 242-244 for a full charge, between 218-222 on a 90% charge. 16k miles. 10 months old.

Supercharger and Service center: Houston, Texas @ Airtex Industrial Center

I was there a couple of weeks ago for a service appointment. The navigation showed "reduced service" as well, but there was nothing wrong with it. I was able to charge up without any problems.

    Can't charge beyond 99%

I'm kinda in the same boat. I have a 2016 S 70, upgraded to 75 about a month ago. The 90% level has been dropping steadily since I upgraded to 75. When I first upgraded, I decided to see what a full 100% was, and saw that it was 241. I tried it again last night (ran it down to 11% to...

Has anyone made the run from Jackson, MS to Memphis, TN ??

I just did this trip in my S75 2 weeks ago. We were going from Houston to Memphis. Ended up going to LCH-BTR-JAN-MEM. I was most concerned about the JAN-MEM leg, since it was showing 211 miles to our destination from the Pearl supercharger. Luckily it wasn't too cold (temps in the high 40s to...

Another solid experience with Tesla Service, and WOW the P100DL is scary

I had the same experience when my S75 was in for service and I had a P85D loaner. I told my wife that having that type of power was going to be dangerous for me! I was happy to go back into my vanilla 75. Who knows, I may change my mind in the future, but I'm happy with my vanilla 75 (for now)!!

    Service Price Increase

I literally just got my first annual done last week. Looks like I missed out on the free alignment! I don't see how this would save any money - my annual was $400+$105 for the alignment. The cost of the 3 year service plan is $1550. Do the future annual services cost more?

Road trip from Houston to Memphis

Thanks for the real world replies so far regarding what people have been getting/doing regarding miles to go. I think a wise move would be to have a little over 10% when arriving at a charger. For my 70, that's about 30 miles to empty. The winds are obviously a factor, but I think the...

Road trip from Houston to Memphis

Have any of you taken your car down to 10-15 miles of range on a road trip? It's a little below my comfort level, but if there are enough data points where it'll make me feel more comfortable, I might do it!

Road trip from Houston to Memphis

I'm willing to drive an extra hour on the southern route through Baton Rouge and Jackson, with its availability of Superchargers on the route. After further review, it looks like there's a Tanger Premium outlet (with charging) about 20 miles south of Memphis that is 195 miles from Jackson...

Road trip from Houston to Memphis

Looking for advice from those of you who do road trips with your Teslas on a regular basis. My wife and I are thinking of taking our Model S 70 (rwd) from Houston to Memphis. Looking at the routing options on evtripplanner (through super chargers), it'll take 22 hours! WAY too long for a 9-10...

    Backing Camera Guide Lines?

You should be able to see the top of the bumper, so that's where you'll hit something. LOL It was posted somewhere on this forum that the lines represent where the tires are. Having that knowledge has helped me judge distance and has helped my situational awareness when backing up.

    What's your 90%?

I don't have a 70D, just a RWD S70, but my 90% varies between 208-211. I have only charged to 100% once, and got 231 miles. I have only had the car for 3 weeks and haven't calibrated the battery (yet). That's next on my to-do list!

Comparable. EVS was $50 more for the same product. BUT, Executive was offering $50-100 off on special. Given your experience, though, the extra money is worth my piece of mind that the job was done right!

Question for the Houston peeps. Where are you guys going for tint? Ted over at EVS seems like a good place, but I also have a quote at Executive motorsports that is competitive. Good Yelp ratings for both.

It's nice to see us Houston peeps getting a little love! Mine is supposed to arrive this weekend - with the prep, I should be able to take delivery sometime next week. It's weird, I figured we would all be on the same truck, but that didn't end up happening. The "delivery mystery" continues!

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

According to my DS (Whitney), they're coming to Houston by truck. They were going to experiment with sending it over here by rail, but our batch of late June deliveries (she says we're still looking good for 6/20 - VIN 141xxx) should still be by truck.

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Looks like we're all in the same boat here in Houston. Confirmed 4/28. VIN 141xxx. S70. Midnight Silver. Whitney says June 20 is my day - production to start on or about June 5. Maybe we'll all be on the same truck!

How many of you are upgrading their refreshed 70kwh to a 75kwh?

I was seriously thinking about it, but until I take delivery and see what my usage needs are, I'll hold off. I think that $250 isn't a bad price to pay if you decide to delay.
  38. M

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Yes. $500 to change options after confirmation. If you have multiple changes, it's just a one time fee if you make all of the changes at the same time.

Talked to my DS on Friday to make a few changes (Midnight Silver, here we come!). VIN 141xxx, for delivery to Houston, TX. S70. Scheduled to go into production the week of June 5th, scheduled delivery June 20th. My DS says no later than June 30th delivery. An interesting side note is that...

Is it possible to add/remove software options after order confirmation?

Ok, this is crazy. I went from a Late May-June initial estimate to a June-Early July about a week ago, then back to Late May-June this morning. Given that my DS said I am slated to get my car on June 20th, technically both of those estimates apply! I just thought it was funny that the MyTesla...

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

I queried my DS about the expected delivery date of my VIN 141xxx series vehicle. The car is going to Houston, TX. Looks like June 20, and (supposedly) no later than June 30. This jives with the end of the quarter push that most have been talking about.
  43. M

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Just logged onto Mytesla and noticed that my production timeframe has now slipped to June-Early July! Was at Late May - June. This jives with my DS telling me that my car won't go into production until the latter part of May. VIN 141xxx. I'm assuming I'll take delivery in the mid-June timeframe.

New outlet to garage, how much$

Like Cyclone said, it will vary based on location. That being said, I just had one (NEMA 14-50) put in the other week in Houston for $400. That's for an 8 foot run between the circuit breaker and the outlet. YMMV.

Houston electricians - A&P or Trim?

Thanks for the input, guys. I've gone ahead and had Chams electric do the install. $400. He said that if I decided to upgrade to the HPWC, it would be $500 for the installation. Cheikh (the owner) did the install himself and I can honestly say it was a pleasure meeting him. I would highly...

Houston electricians - A&P or Trim?

I'm looking for an electrician to install a NEMA 14-50 in my garage, and was wondering if anyone in the Houston area who has had any experience with an install from either A&P or Trim electric. I did also call Quality, but they had a SUPER low quote of $300 to put in a NEMA! They're still in...
