Pasadena Launches the largest EV charging center in the US: Pasadena Launches The Largest Public Fast-Charging Station In U.S. The report comes a little late but at least it's getting some publicity.

Supercharger - Pasadena, CA (LIVE 26 Nov 2019, 24 urban stalls)

I drove into the Pasadena Supercharger area this morning at about 4:15. A blue Model 3 was just leaving and a dark colored Model 3 was plugged in and charging. Later when I took my morning stroll there was an older Model S parked on the other side charging. Plently of activity here for those...

    O-Oh. It's happened. Frunk won't open.

I also had this problem on my Model S 2013 Tesla about a year ago. After calling Tesla support they recommended that I take it into the service center in Burbank (a 20 minute drive). The service center fixed the problem in about 15 minutes but it caused a delay in our trip to San Diego. At...

I can't reset the TPMS error message on my Model S

I own a 2013 Model S which I bought almost four years ago through the Tesla CPO program. Two years ago I had three of the tire pressure sensors replaced under warranty. I have had the TPMS error message come on intermitently over the last two years. By doing a reset of the TPMS system by...

How Tesla uses cash from the LV casinos to boost its bottom line

From the LA Times this morning:: " Since 2015, Tesla has boosted its bottom line by selling tax credits to casinos such as the MGM Grand. The casinos use the credits, purchased at a discount, to lower the gambling taxes they pay the state. Tesla uses the proceeds to ease its losses or increase...

Free Destination Charging: 50x L2 80A Stations @ Caltech, Pasadena, CA

Roadster, have you noticed that the Caltech charging station is no longer the largest station in California? South Coast AQMD has 75 level 2 chargers and two Chademo chargers. All you need is a Greenlots membership to charge for free on the level 2 chargers.

Supercharger - Burbank, CA - North Third Street (LIVE 14 Sep 2017, 20 V2 stalls)

Reekdog, I think you are right about Tesla putting SC stations in the Americana Mall parking structure. I was there a couple of weeks ago for a Tesla "Social" for owners and it looks like they would have a lot of room on the roof for charging stations. Also, it would fit into Elon's plans to...

    Tesla Sponsored Owner Meetups

A polo event is a bit upscale for Southern California! Glad to hear that Tesla is trying to woo the Yale crowd.

    Tesla Sponsored Owner Meetups

About 40-50 people showed up for an invitation only Tesla sponsored dinner and movie showing in Glendale, California on Friday night. We were treated to a free showing (on a large screen set up for the movie on the eighth floor of a parking structure) of the movie LA LA Land. Also, we enjoyed...

Supercharger - San Diego, CA (Qualcomm / Pacific Heights Blvd., 12 V2 stalls)

I charged at the San Diego Superchargers last night about 9:40 pm. I got an average of 190 miles per hour. Four other cars were there but only one of them had their owner sitting in the car.

Free Destination Charging: 50x L2 80A Stations @ Caltech, Pasadena, CA

MIte46, I have to say you did a brilliant job designing and implementing this charging setup. I noticed the new 32A Clipper Creek chargers that were put in on Sunday. Nice! Is there any chance that we might get one or two HPWC chargers for Teslas?

Manteca to corning superchargers --which is most efficient route? Vacaville or rosevi

Mateca to Corning What about taking the route from Manteca to Corning through the I-5 highway. Google Maps shows that it is only 175 miles and 2 hours, 37 minutes long. Is there a problem with taking this route due to road construction?

Supercharger - Burbank, CA (Service Center, no longer on nav map)

TTT, I found that taking the Olive exit (if you are coming from south of Burbank) is much easier than the Alameda exit option. Having to do the U-Turn in that area is a hassle!
