Never rely on Tesla App on Android; Google can stop it for no reason.

You can install any app on an android without using Google by downloading the APK and installing it outside of the google play store. Your buying into an even more locked platform with Apple.

If I buy a used 3 will it get the new features provided in future software updates?

It's funny to see it broken down this way. For those of us following for years this all makes sense. But for someone looking to buy what a mess this looks like :-p

    Supercharger - Sacramento, CA - Freeport Blvd. (LIVE 29 Sep 2020, 8 V3 stalls)

Finally! I have always felt South Sac, Elk Grove, and all south of 50 has been ignored. Now we just need a Davis location!

EV Doubler using two 120v outlet

Looks like it does what the Quick 220 system does. As long as neither are GFCI circuits and your good about using the tester... Queue many coming into this thread and condemning such practice though.

Supercharger - Petaluma, CA (EXPANDED Jun 2018, now 20 V2 stalls)

He was only taking about 20 minutes per charger, and only turning off the pairs as he was working on them. Probably done with the whole thing in a day. Watched him do 2 when I was there charging in an adjacent stall.

Supercharger - Petaluma, CA (EXPANDED Jun 2018, now 20 V2 stalls)

Looks like Petaluma is getting it's V2 Supercharger cords swapped out to something that can handle the heat now that we can draw 150kwh. Tesla energy guy here swapping what looks like most of the stations here. (Just the cord that plugs into the car.)

    A vehicle that can regenerate?

Anything that converts kenetic energy to electrical energy when moving adds drag, and will not work, as the car works harder to move forward.

Lane numbers in some posts...a California thing?

Yeup Caltrans. I guess its always seemed normal to me to number the lanes this way, but I've had my nose buried in Caltrans standards the last 5 years of my life so its my norm.

Ugh there are more and more and more scenarios Tesla didn't think of in all of this mess.

3% Price increase across the board

This is a bad look for Tesla. More thought needs to go into these big changes... Love the car, want more stability from the company.

Reduced price Autopilot & FSD for existing owners announced March 1st

I stay calm on the phone, I call to inquire like "hey I heard I would be expecting a call back from a supervisor in your department on Tuesday, its Thursday, can you confirm I can expect a call soon?" And they can see my account notes, and will say yes, they see I should get a call back. I...

Thanks Mods! I typed the post saying their was 10 stalls at first, went back and counted the cabinets, noticed my error, edited the thread body, noticed I could not fix the title. Is it wise for Tesla to refuse FSD refunds?

Preface: I am not upset about the price drop of the car itself, I am describing payment for a pre-order of a feature yet to be delivered or installed. I Pre-ordered Full Self Driving on my Model 3 Long Range through the web portal for $5,000. I previously paid $5000 for EAP at time of...

Support has gotten back to me, they are sticking to "Offering Early Access only" for those of us who have now pre-ordered FSD for more than it is being sold to other existing owners.

Isn't Full Self Driving supposed to be a $2,000 upgrade?

Its live now (for those that didn't already pay much more to pre order FSD and trust tesla for their word that FSD will be more expensive some day.)

Will Tesla punish their supporters, or refund $3,000?

I have a friend who asked me today if I can give them a test ride this Friday, and I always love to show people how amazing the car is (and always will be) But internally It just felt so different talking positive about tesla today. I wasn't in the mood to explain to my friend that Tesla is...

Will Tesla punish their supporters, or refund $3,000?

Its ok to pay a price to be an early adopter if the product was already here and delivered. But now everyone is pre-ordering FSD at all kinds of different prices. I don't see how that is ok.

Reduced price Autopilot & FSD for existing owners announced March 1st

Thanks for making that great chart! Video of my experience in talking to tesla about this issue: I know I will echo what has been said, but Tesla really needs to reevaluate the way they priced all this, and is offering virtually no benefit to those who trusted them the most. The price of...

Why does Model 3 need CCS/CHAdeMO adapter? This is why.

Maybe, but I thought the EU variant has the CCS port built in directly? Because new EU supercharger locations have the CCS adapter and tesla connector as well.

    FastTrak / Toll tag placement.

Scheduled charging enabled but car still charges when I am on the car

The car will pull from the wall for HVAC and other aux power needs, the schedule is only for power put into the main battery. If you get out of the car and close the doors, the HVAC will turn off (unless cabin overheat protection kicks in)

Who has Cheap/Free Electricity for home charging

With SMUD (Sacramento Municipal Utility District) I pay 8.19 Cents at night during the winter from Midnight to 6am. Its 10.16 Cents/KWH during the summer at night. So much cheaper than the supercharger. I am so very lucky to have SMUD in California, most everyone pays well over twice as much...

Tesla V9 - please bring back the green free moving traffic lines

Thank you! I am so happy that I am not alone in this. Well, I've just emailed Tesla, I may call service on Monday too to see if they can monitor remotley for me as well. Superchargers for 'general parking'?!

I've only used the Ukiah super charger on weekends, never an issue, but not on week days. Could have sworn it's "30 minute general parking" not all day long general parking.
