if the side bolsters are really squeezing you, you might have the Gen 2 seats that are narrower and more supportive. Gen 1 seats are wider and the side bolsters are not as large.

if I could go back, I would pick the default color and wrap the car in any color I want. Tesla charges $1000+ for paint, a full wrap is ~$2500, so for $1500 extra I could protect my car from minor rock chips, scratches, etc.

Thought I'd share, saw this in a FB group. Looks like staining isn't isolated to black hats. The owner used alcohol, Fantastik, Magic Eraser, baby wipes, etc, none of it worked. Not saying the fault lies with either party yet, but I'd think leaving a hat on a seat falls under "normal use"...

TL;DR - Toyota wants diversity in the sustainable transport field, as a healthy mix of technologies would be the best future. Also, GM's EV1 came out 20+ years ago; the first commercial hydrogen car is ~2 years old. From Toyota's perspective, all the big guns are diving into the EV space...

from a consumer standpoint, it seems nuts that a car behemoth like toyota wouldn't jump on the EV bandwagen. But after talking to Chief Environmental Officer Kevin Butt (yes his real name) at a conference last year, I kinda get why they would target hydrogen instead.

I went to the fremont factory last weekend and saw ~6 model 3's. Definitely different seat structures to the S and X. Material wise I would think they're the same.
