    Model S AP1 Getting Worse!

I also got the 17.26.17 update a few days ago on my HW1 S75. AP on highways seems to be as solid as ever. As others have noted non-highway roads behavior has definitely improved. Most back road sections that have caused me issues in the past where navigated without need for intervention. So...

    $2,500 for 1.0s improvement 0-60mph?

Wow... not that is not what I am saying. Once again you are making assumptions and then running with those assumptions. Tesla contacted me when the facelift was announced and told me my order was updated to the facelifted version and that the pre-facelift was no longer available. I (as well...

    $2,500 for 1.0s improvement 0-60mph?

You're likely making an assumption. In this case your assumption is incorrect (again.) I did not agree to the order change. I did not have an option to chose. The car I got was the car they built at the time of production. In my case it was the facelift.

    $2,500 for 1.0s improvement 0-60mph?

This is incorrect. I ordered a pre facelift S70 and since my car didn't go into production prior to the facelift announcement I got a facelifted Model S. That wasn't the car I ordered and that "both parties agree on." IMHO If your car hasn't entered production yet you will get the faster 0-60...

    What's your 90%?

I've got 36K on my 2016 Model S 75 RWD. My 90% is 207 and my 100% is 231. (I've ranged charged twice in the last two weeks to see if magical BMS adjustments would occur.) I'm not sure if I should be concerned because these numbers may indicate more degradation than I expected. My car was at...

    Supercharger - Atlanta, GA

You'll be fine. The issue with I85 is a couple of miles north of Atlantic Station.

    Supercharger - Atlanta, GA

The Atlanta supercharger (in Midtown, not Downtown) can get busy but I've never seen it full.

How often do you open sunroof (pano roof)?

I use mine on a daily basis (weather permitting) as well. Actually, my car has been in the body shop since October 24th (I was rear-ended by a 4Runner) so I'll let you know about cold weather usage when I get it back (scheduled for Friday next week.)

    AWD/RWD Battery Pack Differences?

Thanks to everyone for the answer!

    AWD/RWD Battery Pack Differences?

I was chatting with a friend who's thinking about buying a Model S when he asked me if there was a difference in battery packs between a new RWD/AWD vehicle. I assume there isn't but I can't find any information that confirms/denies this assertion. Does anyone here know the answer?

    AP in 8.0

I agree with @Sir Guacamolaf, so far nominal improvements in AP in general. Lane keeping seems to be much smoother and changes in speed is noticeably smoother (especially in slower traffic.) The flashing-white-ring-of-warning is actually quite good at getting your attention and I found it...

    Firmware 8.0

I stopped by the Decatur Store/Service Center during my lunch break. Doing this in the past has resulted in 'update available' anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours after the visit. I'll keep you posted :)

    Driver Assistance Feature Unavailable

Very similar situation for me. I've been receiving this message intermittently since last week. It first occurred when leaving the Decatur service center after getting my tires rotated. I immediately brought it back and they rebooted a few systems and everything seems to be ok. Then it...

Extended Warranty Worth it? One year 4k 50k Miles?

I'll probably be in the same boat (I'm putting about 1K every week on my MS70.) I'm fairly certain I will opt for the extended warranty when to time comes.

They said "you can't stay on 7.0 forever. .."

As a software engineer who works for IBM and knows a great deal about our Open Source initiatives (primarily our work on Linux) I must say you are making quite a bit of noise about something you apparently know very little about.

Using Homelink to open a house door deadbolt ?

I'd love to find something similar to the August deadbolt lock but I need a solution for an interior door lock (from garage into house) and not a deadbolt solution. I've been Googling for the last hour or so with no satisfactory solution. (auto unlock via either HomeLink or HomeKit)

I wouldn't suggest anything short of a full plaid makeover.

Funny thing is I was seeing 2-3 Teslas a day before I received my Model S. I haven't seen another one in the wild since (except at super chargers and Fire & Brimstone.)

Is Tesla using Ocean Freight to the East Coast?

I was told the same thing. Started transit 5/13/2016 and is expected to arrive in Decatur, GA 6/4/2016. (Actually as of 5/23/2016 mine was "on the train" but still in California.)
  38. bobjustbob

Did people who ordered just before the price bump get the refresh at no extra $$?

My car is the refresh and I ordered before the announcement. No price increase. Strange that happened to you. Definitely speak to your DS.

I'm a big fan of TMC but I wouldn't gauge production rates of Teslas based upon information voluntarily given on this forum. For one thing I suspect that TMC members (myself included) represent a very small (and potentially skewed) percentage of the Tesla-buying population. But it is an...
