The "original" 70 and 70 D (before 75) has a peak Supercharging power at 114 kW regardless of the lower 350 V battery voltage. Hopefully we could have uncorking for them too...

Yes. It doesn't include consumption on P, nor heat loss due to internal resistance.

So the spec says, but powertools consistently measures ~280 kW for my old 70D - as I think is the case for the 75D too.

Corked power = 280 kW max. across all normal SOC. Max. current increases to compensate for the lower voltage (up to 1000A). At least on my 2015 70 D.

My UMC cable broke after 2 years, but that obviously affected only UMC charging. Destination uses the standard Type2 interface, so it should be affected too?

I think in this case it has only been stated that the update contains new HW. Applicability to existing fleet has not been disclosed yet, other than upgrading SW is not enough.

My 70 kWh A battery maxes at 116 kW, not ~100.

Maybe they should review his Tweets too. :-)

Exactly. When you run out of juice, they will let you upgrade for the full price.
